It's today might as well have a thread. Is they anyone you want? I'd take Stefano Pinho, I know he's an international but he's got a good shot and can play LW or Forward. We could use the depth at LW after Speas; going by Anor playing LB.
We've managed to pick up the odd useful player in these rounds in the past, so I'm hoping we'll get one we can use here. No reason *not* to give an international a chance, BTW, as we don't have very many right now, so your thought is reasonable. Also, according to Jardy, Anor is still recovering--on schedule--from his knee. April at best before he can really train. I do not expect much from Anor this season. Maybe next year.
I'm really hoping for Anor he comes back strong, he really does seem like a good guy. Like you though I'm not counting on getting much out of him this year. This is another reason I'd like to pick up Pinho though, with Anor injured, Duka soon to be gone, who is our next LW?
We'll want one for our USL side--if and when that happens (but "when" seems to be "soon" if reports are to be believed).
Machael David from UCSB would be a good pick up here. He's battled injuries, but he could be a DM/RB project for us. Also, you might as well take a flyer on a forward since there were so many in the draft class. Someone like Chris Thomas from Elon (the nation's leading goal scorer in 2012) would be worth a look.
Won't Lampson get almost all of the reserve minutes? We'll add somebody as the 3rd keeper but unless Gruenebaum or Lampson gets hurt he won't get many minutes.
Maybe, maybe not. Scheduling will play a factor too--you cannot guarentee that the USL side will always be at home when the MLS side is.
You also have to remember that Andy G has an extensive injury history. Matt needs to be ready to go at a moment's notice.
