I forgot to mention that Nakamura Miki is moving to Bunnys. Also, yesterday Sfida Setagaya announced that Ono Midori has joined from FC Vida Ladies.

Sorry this is off topic but I just watched a TV program featuring Spanish style training theory for youth generation and in the program, former Athletic Bilbao's youth coach said that Europian team tend to prefer to get a player born between January and April.
    Does anyone know why?

    I uploaded that video here.

I had a quick look around:
Of those players in 2006 World Cup action born after 1979 — and thus affected by the new cutoff date — the percentage who were born in January, February and March (32.4 per cent) outweighed those born in April-May-June (25.2), July-Aug.-Sept. (21.5) and Oct.-Nov.-Dec. (21).
Prior to 1997, the FIFA cutoff was typically in August, although it varied from country to country. Of those players in 2006 World Cup action born before 1979, the highest percentage were born in July-Aug.-Sept (31.7), while the lowest percentage were born in Jan.-Feb.-March (20).

Basically if you're born in January, then you don't have to compete with those born in December. Underage players who just about made it because they were born early in the year wouldn't be eligible if born in December. I remember this well when a runner myself - I was born in December so had to run against guys almost a year older, and that makes a big difference at young ages.

EDIT: Actually, now I remember it used to go U-12, U-14, U-16 or maybe U-13, U-15, U-17 at some races, so you could be up against guys almost two years older.

I got this wrong now that I look at the schedule again. The teams which win today play each other. The winner of that game plays PAF FC. The loser plays Shobi University.

Today's early games was won by Tokyo International Universtity (4-1)

I see..Thank you. I can understand it and at the same time, bit surprise that they don't considering age(month) difference when they select players.

Ito has moved to Sayama, Nagasato wants to move overseas and is in negotiations, Kobayashi Shiori has moved to Nojima Stella.

Haseagawa will be 16 on the 29th.

Hope Nagasato trysout for the the Portland Thorns!!! Please!!
I like that Haseagawa is getting time with Sakaguchi. Gotta be great experience for a young player.

Sayama haven't announced any more players leaving, so I suppose Azami is still there. It's quite a thing to see that their Challenge League squad could be stronger than the one they had in the Nadeshiko League. Maybe they'll approach the Urawa players who left.

You wouldn't believe the number of people who find my site as a result of looking for a certain type of actress. One guy searched for "Japan high school girl" and got my schedule for the schools' tournament just finished. Probably not what he was looking for.

Beleza's goal scorers from last season, with players who have left struck through:

    Nagasato Asano 19
    Ito Kanako 6
    Iwabuchi Mana 5
    Kiryu Nanase 4
    Tanaka Mina 2
    Sakaguchi Mizuho 2
    Ariyoshi Saori 1
    Kobayashi Yayoi 1
    Kobayashi Misaki 1
    Iwashimizu Azusa 1
    Doko Mayo 1
    Nakasato Yu 1

If I remember rightly Nagasato was a monster in the air, even though she's only 165cm there aren't many other in the side that tall, and certainly not among the forwards.

It's not me for sure who pointed out at it, but I am happy if someone begins to notice the quality of your work. :D
I hope this will increase the contacts to your page (do you have a way to keep score of these?)

In fact the Asahi Shimbun on-line has from time to time some interesting articles (although with occasionally inaccurate info), not only about Nadeshiko Japan, but also about Nadeshiko League (mainly about INAC and its players), and we linked those articles here when it happened; nothing even close to a full coverage for sure, though.

Well, I agree that we basically know nothing sure about it.
I only thought that my hypthesis was more likely, but I'd like to know more about what actually happened too...

It keeps a record of how many hits I've had from different sources. Most of the Google searches have been for Goebel-Yanez, Ito Minako, Hannah Stambaugh and space monster Hanabusa Misa. Most of the hits I get are from spam websites from Russia and so on.

Glad to see my post on the Sayama - Takahashi game finally reached 10 hits today.

Yes, I am impressed too... probably they also benefit from being a club near to the Tokyo area, where there are a lot of clubs to draw from and where a lot of players live, but for sure they're putting up what starts looking like an unstoppable war-machine...
Yamago, Kanako Ito and Arakawa are players that were in the National Team (for long of for short time); if you factor in Rie Azami and the best players from last season (except Ayaka Watanabe, who went in INAC), you have a quite impressive team for the Challenge League level... Yamago can still save important goals, we saw it last season, and Arakawa and Ito should make sure that FW-line and MF get goals.
I admit I didn't believe they were so serious about getting back in Nadeshiko League, after they acted so poorly to avoid relegation. Now, I envision new Vegalta-like club for 2013 Challenge League.

You only keep track about people hitting your blog from Google searches? o_O What about people like me who have the site in their favourites?

I can't keep track, the website does automatically, but it's completely broken. It doesn't count it if you go straight to the site, it only counts if you're referred to it. So if you click on a link I give you here, it will say that the referring site is BigSoccer.com and so on. But it really is broken, so I don't trust it at all, just masses of hits from spam referral sites. There's no way for me to accurately know how many people are reading the entries.

Some sites I've seen even take entire posts I've made and put them up themselves because their search software thinks I've got pictures of actresses.

In a fan-site there were some pictures of yesterday's Napoli-Mozzanica, but I coulndn't find any of them where I could read Emi Yamamoto's jersey number. So we still don't know if she changed the fifth number in five matches. :giggle:

So Nagasato is hoping to play abroad according to Beleza. I wonder which team that would be... Most likely a German club probably?
