Liga MX games in the USA. That would be awesome, but who would give up a home date? Only the bigger team could make that work. Or even Atlas, nobody shows up to those games. I just need one game. America in Chicago, I'd be there in a heart beat.
That Amaury Escoto kid looked good against Pumas. Only 20 years old too... EDIT: didn't know Escoto also scored the last goal last week tying Leon 2 - 2.
This one is not right, the pacto only affects players that leave as free agents (like Ochoa) players that are sold are free to go back to any Liga MX team that they want. Having said that, I still think the Pacto needs to go. Regarding 1) Relegation/Promotion As a fan of Veracruz I would love to see this, but this does open the door to have more "corrupt" teams like Puebla and Queretaro (and sad to say even Veracruz) in D1.
the entire point/percentage system for relegation is whack. they need to get rid of it. also, i would love to see 20 teams in first division rather than 18
To save the big name teams from going down after 1 bad year, they copied it from Argentina, but as we know that was not enough to save River, who knows if Chivas is at the bottom of the table next year they may change it to 5 year average. I assume their thinking is that 20 teams makes it harder to have a split season with (long) playoffs (and avoiding playing on FIFA dates).
Leon got screwed out of a legit goal, bullshit offsides call the refs have been total shit, more so than usual, since the season started
Leon is going to get screwed out of First Division if Rafa doesn't GTFO. My respects for the great career but its time to hang them up.
sad to say, but yes. Rafa's best days are way behind him. he'll be more useful coming off the bench or playing DM. he just doesn't have the legs to be a CB anymore.
I've never seen someone who used to be so good, get so shit at just 32. Time to hang them up indeed...
