John Landa Matkin has signed for United Sikkim F.C. of the Indian I-League. He was born in San Diego and he played his first match today coming on as a 76th minute sub in a match that ended 2-2 between Mumbai and United Sikkim. United Sikkim are currently in last place in the I-League.
I'm not sure what date he joined the club, but there is an article mentioning Ladule Lako Losarah's recent debut for Indian club Southern Samity. The team currently plays in the 2nd tier of Indian football.
The team actually plays in, what I consider, the third tier in the Calcutta Football League. That is the top tier of the state of West Bengal. Samity may play in the I-League 2nd Division but currently discussions are going on whether if India will have the 2nd Division this season or not. As for Lako. He was on trial with Dempo last month, the reigning I-League champions, and failed. He then went on trial in Kolkata, and failed so it seems he found a club willing finally. I honestly don't expect much from him.
