So if every pre-draft pundit had Zimmerman #2 with a bullet, why did he slip down all the way to 7?

Who had him #2? And why would they do that when Chelis already called his pick? Or are you confusing ranked #2 best player with being the actual #2 pick?

Top work from the MLSSoccer.com staff, listing Marvell Wynne as a key loss for the Rapids when they re-signed him two weeks ago.

Second best player. Ives had him #2 on his big board, and said he was #2 on "most teams'" draft boards. And the mock drafters all had him at #3, but when they discussed it it was clear that was only because of Chivas being Chivas.

The discussion I remember seeing had Farrell vs Zimmerman for the #1 pick.

I think being injured hurt Zimmerman's stock a lot.

Nice, Finley didn't do that awkward walk back down the aisle before heading up to the podium.

He's out for 6 weeks, so yeah I can see why he dropped if teams were looking to see him in action right away. A three month layoff has to hurt a player's stock to some degree.

What exactly is it taking for Red Bulls to announce a damn head coach?

Personally called his games back when he played at University of Mobile. Fuller, former Rev reserve team and , found a good one out of Jamaica. Kid was dirty.

could be they are trying to move. I don't think you have to use your timeout on your own pick.

I'm not watching, but that is probably referring to Amando Moreno, a 17 year old forward who signed a homegrown deal with New York earlier this winter.

Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't realize it had that much of an impact (I realize Canada is crazy about Hockey).
