but of course it should seem pretty obvious why he hates high wages so much- it means less in the transfer fee which we all know means 'Arry gets less of his take have to say for someone "who does not know how to use a computer" he is pretty good at calculating numbers isnt he?
I'd say he was two faced, but considering the face he already has, a second one would be beyond disturbing.
KDB and fern just running this mother right now and I fecking hate 'Arry. I know that will do me no favours with Naughtius but I can not stand the sight of the man.
I think when you reach a certain generation of life, the senility sets in. We're on the cusp, but not quite as far as thinking that liking Harry Redknapp is a good idea.
still 'Arry or Rafa my oh my- I would have to think about that one personally I have never rated 'Arry and think he is modern day Terry Venables in that the media and many others think he can do no wrong and for me was someone who was vastly and grossly overrated as a Manager
At least Benitez pretends to be smart with his notepad and glasses. Redknapp sends players on with instructions to "just put yourself about."
Porto putting a 45m clause on Nemanja Matic? Why did we sell him again? thinking it was for the luis deal but can't remember.
Why in the hell would these players be willing to allow these Portuguese clubs to put these assume buyout clauses in their contracts. It's laughable and causes me to despise these teams.
Part of the Luiz deal. Imagine the money we could have saved by playing Matic in his true role instead of putting a square peg in a round hole in Luiz
really dont know much about him but Porto are sure treating him that way after the blast of a shot he had the other day.
Seems fair for Kompany. I remember when we were in in the lad only to have him turn us down. He would have been a hell of center half for us.
i remember the club and some posters here (including myself) being high on Matic. didn't really want to see him traded away, but at the same time, he wasn't really doing anything for chelsea at the time and in return we've got the highest ceiling CB in the world (yea, he's not there, i know). we'll see how far he really does go. though the buyout is stupid money. is there a link to that?
Or even just how useful it would be to have another viable midfield player available right now. The club has been extremely short-sighted with some sales of promising players in recent years.
Sinclair when we had zero decent wingers for a few years running there. I'm sure he pushed for a permanent move and he's not Chelsea quality, but Jack Cork is a decent midfielder that never got a chance. Matic plays for Benfica, btw, not Porto. Even before that goal I was hearing some good things about him. Haven't seen him play much this year though.
