    Recent form

    Osasuna: DWLDLL
    Real Madrid: LWWDLW
    Goalkeepers: Casillas, Jesús, Tomás Mejías.
Defenders: Varane, Marcelo, Coentrão, Albiol, Arbeloa, Carvalho.
Midfielders: Özil, Xabi Alonso, Kaká, Khedira, Essien, Modric, Callejón, Di María, José Rodríguez.
    Forwards: Benzema, Higuaín.
Marcelo is back. Fantastic news. Hopefully, we can keep the good vibe going with another win. This time, it won't be easy, as Ramos is suspended for the next 5 games, Ronaldo is suspended due to yellow card accumulation, and Pepe is out injured. Jose Rodriguez gets the call up from Castilla for the match.
It will be interesting to see if Jose goes with the two striker formation with Angel and Ozil behind them, or put Modric/Ozil/Angel out there behind one of Gonzalo or Benzema.
Iker is back in net with Adan suspended, so we're assured no controversy this week.
Congrats to Guti, his wife gave birth to a baby boy (Enzo).
Xabi is a doubt for the game with neck/back pain.
    HALA MADRID!

    My prediction:

    Casillas
    Essien Carvs Varane Arbeloa
    Sami Modric
    Di Maria Ozil Callejon
    Benz

Would love to see Pipa back in action but I think he's not match fit yet
    I have a feeling we're gonna struggle, I'd say a narrow 2-1 win

I hadn't realised that the stadium's name had changed from the Reyno de Navarra. I'm sure it's still the same old horrible place though.

Should be fun to watch, let's see how we look without Ronnie.

3 points and no injuries.. thanks

Essien has been good in filling positions but i'd like to see Coentrao or Marcelo start to get them match fit and ready for the big games.

My girlfriend's a big fan of Ronaldo and she's staying over today. She's so upset that Ronaldo can't play. Lol. Well, good luck guys!

Wow, these jokers have only conceded 7 goals at home this season. Now I really hope Wednesday night wasn't a one-off.

Me too, I was extremely confused when I read El Sadar, especially considering it's the name of their old stadium. I sure hope they didn't move back into the old one, that one will ensure even more of a shitshow than the current one. I believe the fans were closer to the pitch there etc.

No, it's the same one. It was opened in 1967. But between 2005 and 2011 the region Navarra bought the rights to the stadium name. Now it's back to its old name apparently.

no Carvalho.. hmm, he has been good for us past few games.

Albiol comes in, Coentrao and Higuain come in too (Modric keeps his place)

Someone made a comment in one of the other threads that Carvalho's bad performances could have been due to playing too many games at once. I wonder if Mourinho thinks the same thing.

I think Albiol will be fine. He's going to really need to step up and give us that 09-10 level of play. I also would have liked to see Kaka play instead of Callejon but Mourinho is probably preparing for a fight.

Our team usually responds well when Ronaldo isn't available. I think we'll be okay but it won't be fluid.

Also, watching these past couple of games live have been exciting. For some reason, downloading these in HD and watching them later even if I didn't know the result isn't quite as thrilling as watching it on a shitty live stream.

Will be intriguing to see which player can step up and provide us with that little something extra in Cris' absence, I'm slightly concerned at the trio of Callejon, Luka and Di Maria together for this match but it has to come from one of these guys.

Been too long since Pipita has spearheaded our attack, can't wait.
