Halfway through the movie 2 points, Diego Reyes mom is a G And no lo le pusieron apodo a Corona for fear of a headbutt lmao
Good doc, I agree that the Senegal game was probably their toughest. I don't think I ever wanted a game to go into overtime as much as that game; as a fan I really sweated that one as well. They summed up well the thoughts of "fracaso" that were going on in every Mexican watching the game.
Very nice doc! If Marco didn't have a girlfriend, I'd think he was gay (and there's nothing wrong with that).
just finished it.....nice documentary. One thing that stuck out to me was salcido's comments on the group......said he had never been in a group like that with el tri.... wasn't five over there and another 4 over here and some more over there, they all hung out together and everyone was in on every convo. I cant wait til all the vets are phased out of el Tri..... seriously....
Enjoyed to documentary. The unity did stand out in it. I think Gio's mom said Gio said something similar to what Espinoza had said. And he'd been on the 05 team that won the U17 WC. Says a lot to what was happening.
diego reyes mom deserves a shout out, my dad and I laughed when from what she said. The unity comment stuck, and its becoming more obvious as our team wins tournaments. also the salcido quote he made at the end was really a good mentality to have, that he doesn't have an idol in the professional football world because if he did then they get stiff when they play against them, with out an idol he feels as an equal to everyone. really good statement.
