I think that is a blue one.
In certain low light the blue looks almost black, but isn't. If I was buying a blue one, I would just get a new one.
    (I wear a blue one.)

The stopwatch is working fine, or mine is also broken. I'm betting on A.

I think you're right. I've always been baffled by the stopwatch on mine.

The stopwatch is working. The seller just doesn't know how to operate the watch.

I got mine from an off the wall website about four or five years ago for $39.99. It was at the same time they were going for $80 on OSI. The band is getting a bit worn, and I've put like three batteries in it. Still runs like a champ. I never have used the stopwatch. Always the countdown.

I couldn't figure out how to use the stopwatch on mine until somebody here told me how to do it.

The stopwatch function is not good for timing a short event like a sprint, because it
does not stop the tenths and hundredths of seconds. But it is fine for tracking the
lost time in a match provided you remember to stop and restart it each time. Only one read-out stops and restarts. The other keeps going, so after 45 mins on the continuous read-out, the stopping one will show less time, say 42 m 35 sec, so you know to add 3 minutes. IMO this function is more useful
for a 4th official, although not impossible to use while reffing, just an additional factor to think about.

You can use both at the same time. The stopwatch gives the count-up time, all the better to record data with.

My right wrist counts up. The RFT counts down.

I never stop my watch because I usually forget to turn it back on.

I just set the time for the half length and mentally keep track of how much time to add.

For NFHS, I have another watch with stop watch function that I stop and start. Only 1 out of 5 times do I remember to restart so I end up going by the stadium clock backed up by the watch with running time.

I just ordered an adidas 3127 at a pretty steep discount, I think it's the newest model (but I could be totally wrong) and I'm pretty excited to give it a try*
