if he's leaving the EPL his best move is Juve, but another good move would be with another team in the EPL, lets face facts here man city has too many top strikers, other than aguero none of these guys are sure who's starting until they see their names in the starting line up. balo is a young player that needs playing time develop, he's just wasting his talent at man city because you got 4 strikers there that can start on more than half the teams in the EPL, even a loan move to a team smaller team would help him develop.. mario will never delovopl into a top player playing at man city, NEVER! even dzeko should get the hell out of there and go to a team where he can be an every game starting striker... if your a star player in the making and your not really playing a significant roll on teams like man city and man u your just wasting your talent playing 10 minutes a game there. i won't even mind seeing mario on loan to a team like swansea, because that means he's playing every game and getting significant minutes to develop, you can't develop if your not playing.. he will never get along with mancini because mancini has a big ego and so does mario.

word is AC milan is very interested in him, he just needs to get the hell out of man city ASAP. these super teams are not a good place to develop young players, the moment you make a mistake your given the hook because there's so many quality strikers on those teams . look at berbatov for example, he was on the bench rotting at man u, he leaves for fulham where he's the starting striker and he's banging goals almost every game... mancini changed the starting strikers again for today's game vs Norwich, tevez is now back on the bench, dzeko is in and he already scored 2 goals in less than 15 minutes (im watching the game right now) like I've said dzeko is another player that needs to get out of there .. these team's like man city and man U are not a good situations for these young strikers on the bench to develop. young players make mistakes and they need playing time to correct those mistakes in order to develop their craft. messi's knee was almost done yet Barcelona still stuck with him and developed him into a superstar because they had fate in him. . the best thing for balo might be a loan move to a team that really need's a striker. he's not even playing because manchini's ego is way to big! he called out his strikers in the papers last week. manchini has balo on the sick list for 3 now lol how can you develop if your not playing ? everybody knows mario is a little crazy, but prandelli showed fate in him and he excelled for italy, manchini has no fate in mario because his ego won't let him swallow his pride because mario said something to him after he took him off in a game 3 weeks ago.

Mikey, I think your assessment is a little backwards. If anything, Mancini has had infinite patience with Balotelli. Balotelli is on the bench because of himself, not because of Mancini's ego. "Getting the hell out of Man City" or finding a coach with more faith in him is not the solution.

We are just lucky that the kid has not shown this level of disrespect for the national jersey. As much as his behavior at club level disgusts me, I do have respect for the guy because he brings it for the NT and obviously cares a lot more about playing for his country.

Maybe MLS will settle him down? LOL. I know I'm wishful thinking but at the very least he could grow, wouldn't be scrutinized or racially taunted, for that matter.

He's not racially abused in England, and growing in the MLS for someone of his talent?

If he returns to Italy he would be. As far as MLS being substandard league, I beg to differ. If anyone has seen the matches week in and week 0ut , it is far from an "easy" league. They may not have the funds the other leagues have but they have a lot of things that Europeans would envy.

Possibly, but things, we hope, are changing.

I have, it's not even as good as Serie B. A person of Balotelli's skill level would rot in the MLS.

Like no racism from the fans, which is great, but nothing in terms of development for the youngsters. It's a country club for players like Beckham.

Beckham is one player and he was just along for the ride and to collect a paycheck but he has had trouble as has Henry, Marquez and a host of others. I think its a very tough league.

Beckham walks when he plays, he hardly runs and he commands others the pitch ie; typically tells his team mates where to go so he can position himself to be the pivot of the team. I've seen the Galaxy live 3x this year, it's the same story each time. Older players are bound to have troubles with fitness, running, etc, but thankfully because of the dearth of top talent in the MLS, they don't need to run much. Beckham has proved that. But if you think it's a top league then  not much else to say other that; good luck with that!

Never said it was a top 10 league by any means but its still a good league though and its getting better each year. Beckham on the other hand, IMHO has always been overrated at 18, 28 and 38 years of age. He couldn't even run when he came to LA at 32 and I was never impressed by him. Can't stand him now or then.

And the fact that he's one of the bests player in the MLS proves it's a second rate league, really. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching the games live, when I can, but it's not comparable. It's not even a question if Balo would go there, because we all know that's never happening, but if he did he might as well put a nail in his own coffin for his career.

Beckham is not one of the leagues best players, not even close. I mean he is the most famous and/or most popular and highest paid player but if you watch him play, he can not move or keep up at all. Only thing he has is the free kick of which I saw him score twice in 6 years of action so that certainly isn't worth what they paid him. He isn't and never was that good. If anything, it would have been much better if they invested the money in many different players instead of just on him. As far as Balo coming to MLS, I know its a pipe dream and it won't ever happen but I'd still love to see it though and I think it would do the league wonders.

No way. J League is a level below MLS in my opinion. Also, you would be exchanging living in Nagasaki or Hiroshima breathing 65 year old A-bomb fumes as opposed to living in Beverly Hills or NYC. I'd take the ladder instead of the former any day. I think anyone would, for that matter.

    Yes he is/was

Exactly, in the MLS he doesn't need to because the quality and depth is so low... And yet most of the Galaxy's attack is run through him. Do you watch them at all?

If Beckham, easily a more marketable player than Balo didn't do the league wonders, then your pipe dream probably won't either ;) But before you were saying it was going to beneficial for Balo to come to MLS, now it's beneficial to MLS? o_O

    A-League better than MLS too!
