    It's getting a little too easy for Messi and this award. I wouldn't be surprised if something happens like this happens next year. Just by nature Lio will start walking to the stage even if his name isn't called out.

    Ahhh, very curious. I was expecting Amy MacDonald to be a ginger.

    Difficult to notice when she's wearing her keeper kit. I'd prolly ask her to keep it on...

    Yeah, but did he do it to a previous Ballon d'Or winner?

    Maybe I find this especially funny because "dor" in Portuguese means pain. So today Cannavaro was finally able to repay "Ballon dor" Leo gave him years back. :ROFLMAO:

    A couple of posters in the LPB OTT are losing their shit over the great miscarriage of justice which just took place when FIFA awarded the trophy for the best footballer in 2012 to the footballer who had the best 2012 year.
    The Real OTT is appropriately titled "Missy Meltdown". :)

    That doesn't show the breakdown and total points, but a quick scan seems to indicate that it wasn't that close. Messi seems to have more first place votes than all the other players combined. It also seemed like Messi won the media vote (which he didn't win in 2010).

    Again, that's just based on me quickly scanning that table.
