News: World Cup 2014 Qualifying -- the 2013 Edition

I got a call from the Crew yesterday & the ticket rep was telling me that we are getting the game against Mexico. I asked if I could share this info & was told yes although the news isn't 100% official.

 

I know this was expected, but I just had a blood rush in my mid-section...

 

That would be a red, white and blue patriotic boner

the blood is the red, the special sauce is the white and the blue is the veins.... can't get more american than a good ol' stiffy...just don't whip it out at the stadium when we beat them 2-0 again

 

Wait, so it's okay for a chick to flash on camera during the final Crew game of the season but beating Mexico doesn't justify me doing it?

Side note - I wrote her in for President in November. I wonder if they did their due diligence to honor my vote and find out the real name of "Chick who flashed at the final Crew game". Regardless, she lost...

on a more serious note, did they say when the USSF is planning on making an announcement for locations to the qualifiers?

 

I read yesterday on MLS.com that they should be announcing the site for the March game within the first few weeks of the new year and the remaining locations later in the year. I'm paraphrasing, but I believe I remember that correctly.

Seems like yes, as long as there is no powdered substances or fireworks involved

 

Who said it had to be in the stadium? For old times sake, do it on the roof of a bar! (In a fireproof container, of course.)

asked this earlier elsewhere and didn't get a response. Anyone know what level ticket holder you must be to get the opportunity to buy tickets early for any possible USMNT game at Crew Stadium? Been a half-season ticket holder, but with baby number two on the way we're looking at possibly getting a 5 pack.

 

I'm sure that since its not been announced yet I doubt you'll get a straight answer from anyone. Isn't there a club/mailing list you can get on thru USMNT website where you can get codes to get tickets before they go on sale?

 

well, in the past, have people had to be black level (half season) or did the 5 game pack suffice (silver level I think)?

 

Not sure of your situation, but I know we (CSU) will buy all available tickets in Nordecke and then sell to members. Its a garaunteed get if you are interested.
