Deleon seems like a legitimate snub. I'd also prefered to have seen Okugo called.

AJ got called in because in CC2012 v Venezuela and Panama he was the most consistent FB in terms of getting forward and helping in the attack.

I think I was the only one who wanted Beltran to get called up. You guys must not like RSL.o_O

out of this roster I expect at least 6 players sticking around after the Canada game for the Florida camp, they are...

    Zusi
    Gonzalez
    Gatt
    Agudelo
    Mix
    EJ

    There is your six.

Would they bring a third goalkeeper to the Florida camp? In which case I'd expect one of Johnson/Hamid (though I'd prefer Hall myself).

I believe only one of Hamid/Johnson should have been called in.

Agree with others that Delagarza and Parke might be undeserving. Not sure what might have happened to George John.

Brad Evans? Perhaps Nick DeLeon is still considering Trinidad and Tobago.

Buddle is a mysterious choice. Apparently Gordon and Pontius are recovering from groin injuries.
Is Sapong really training with Arsenal?

I'm really expecting Zusi to take a major climb in the US pool. Donovan being absent really opens up a opportunity early in the Hex. I'm not sure that JK will allow Donovan to waltz right back in; especially, if Zusi or someone else steps their game to another level.

I have doubts about Gatt at this point.

Edit: Also, a good opportunity for Brad Davis. He really deserves a look. I have watched enough of him to know he's a experienced player who can bring something to the main squad.

I'm really surprised by the players some of you mention as snubs... DeLeon? Really? He's definitely a good shout, dont get me wrong, but Okugo, McCarty, Conor O'Brien, & Steve Clark absolutely,100% should have been on this squad. They're almost such big snubs for me, it makes me think they were called and there was something keeping them from accepting.

The fact that Brad Davis makes the squad really keeps me from looking at the squad in a negative way at all. If he didnt make it this time, there probably wouldnt be another chance for him since he is getting older and that would have frustrated me. He has first team potential, if you will, so thrilled to see him.

    First impression: I like it.

EDIT: ok, no George John is a disappointment for me. But otherwise pretty good

Well, he sure let Tim Chandler waltz back in who has done .01% for the USA what LD has done. I guess we will see . . .

This discussion is probably better addressed on the Uncertain Donovan thread.:)

I've yet to be impressed (like my opinion mean jack squat). Frankly, if Jurgen needed another fullback to take a look at, I would have thought Sinovic had earned a spot above Lade. Oh well. :coffee:

Is this where we guess the lineup before camp has even started?

No John and no Okogu is surprising given our overall lack of CB's. Why ignore two of our better prospects? De La Garza is nowhere near NT caliber.

    Where's Heath Pearce?
