Parker to make 1st start. BAE is back but likely to be on the bench.

    MATCH FACTS

    Head-to-head
    • Tottenham hold a 42-26 winning record over Coventry after 90 league and cup matches.
    • Spurs have won the last three, culminating in a 3-0 victory at Highfield Road in the second round of the League Cup in September 2003.
    • Their most notable clash was in the 1987 FA Cup final at Wembley, when an unfortunate own goal from Gary Mabbutt in extra time, gave Sky Blues' managerial duo John Sillett and George Curtis the crowning glory of a 3-2 victory and the silverware for the first and only time. Spurs won both of the only other two FA Cup meetings, in the fifth round in 1981, and in third round in 2002.
    Tottenham
    • Only two clubs have won the FA Cup more often than Tottenham's eight; Manchester United 11 and Arsenal 10. Only Coventry have beaten them in an FA Cup final.
    • Spurs may not have lifted the trophy since 1991, but the North London side have been semi-finalists in two of the last three seasons.
    • The White Hart Lane club have gone out to fellow Premier League sides in each of the last six seasons, subsequent to Championship Leicester in the third round in 2006, and although held to a goalless draw by Stevenage in the first match in last season's fifth round, have not succumbed to third tier opposition in 25 years since Port Vale in the fourth round in January 1988.
    Coventry City
    • This tie cannot help but evoke memories of Coventry's greatest day in their history 26 years ago, since when the best achieved has been two quarter-final appearances; 1998 and 2009.
    • Mark Robins has taken the Sky Blues from one off the bottom in mid-September to the top half of the League One table. He will always be remembered for virtually saving Sir Alex Ferguson's job at Manchester United with a winning goal in a vital in a FA Cup third round tie at Nottingham Forest in January 1990. The Red Devils went on to win the cup from there, Ferguson's first piece of silverware at Old Trafford.
    • Coventry are 52 places lower than Tottenham in the league standings, and are one of three third tier clubs trying to oust Premier League opposition, as they did in the fourth round in 2011 when, as a Championship side, they eliminating neighbours Birmingham City.

What's the deal with FSC not showing this game? They have been all about Tottenham the past few weeks and now nothing for the FA Cup as far as Spurs? Not finding any streams either so oh well, guess I'll do some basketweaving today :) These are the games Dempsey usually picks up a few goals in..
Hey at least TEAM USA in the World Junior Hockey Championship is on in the Final against Sweden right now. Ahh, saved with something worthwhile to watch this morning. Nice how they beat Canada 5-1 in the Semifinal.

Ahh, FA cup weekend... I like to watch some minor team that would never normally get on TV.

Have to admit to a soft spot for Coventry, went to college there.

Looks like they're taking it pretty seriously.

    Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Coventry City

Sigurdsson swings in a free-kick, Gareth Bale flicks it on and Clint Dempsey taps it in for 1-0!

Reading the Live Text Commentary at BBC, we are basically owning the match and peppering the goal with shots... at this rate, it should end 4-0...

It's the Dempsey and Bale show. All goals and assists by those two. Wow... this could go 6-0 at this rate...

Bale-Dempsey is quite the pairing, who knew? Now that things looks safely in hand I'd like to see Townsend and Carroll get some minutes.

Limited in my ability to pass comment given we couldn't see the game, but a good job by AvB rotating the squad without affecting the result. Naughton and Ade were the only two players in the starting XI who had started the previous 3 fixtures stretching back to Boxing Day. Additionally, it's uncertain whether either will maintain their starting positions going forward for different reasons (return of BAE, African Cup of Nations decision).
