Seeing us in a fight for fourth is discouraging, to the say the least. So, to focus on something more fun: all of Leo Messi's goals from 2012. Quite the year he had... You can also see what kind of player Vela wanted to be. Man, Messi chips a lot of keepers...
Demba Ba is going to chelsea. What happened to the done deal to Arsenal some here were saying? I guess you're not in the know like you thought.
unbelievable player....it's real a treat that we are being able to witness him. I think people will be talking about him for many decades to come.
Yeah, I agree, which is why I posted the youtube. I think my favorite thing about him is that he's 5' freaking 7". Any other sport, he wouldn't still be playing. Any American sport that is...
he's the best player of all time for me, eclipsing ronaldo as a great now as well i can't comprehend his understanding and calmness in tight situations, 3 defenders around him and he still always finds a way through, his finishing is underrated too people who rank pele/maradonna on his level are lol this guy is CLEARLY the best player of all time
Lots of hate towards Barcelona and Messi; Barcelona I can understand what with Cesc and the others, but Messi? So much hate for athletes you don't even know personally can't be good for the mind. In any case, love them or hate them, they're the best team in the world by a mile and play some of (I think the) the greatest football the world has ever seen, never miss a match. If you're a fan of football you can't not watch them, (in my opinion of course, but really let's try and be rational and objective here).
Messi the 3rd best player I've ever seen behind Ronaldo and Zizou, then I have Maldini, Henry and Bergkamp up there as well.
I don't have a TV so I have to work to watch games, so the only team I really work hard to see is Arsenal (and UVa football, if we were any good). But Barca are amazing. I know lots of people are tired of them, but they ain't going away any time soon.
To me, it's Fat Ronaldo, Ronaldinho (he reached a level higher than anyone else except Ronaldo..just couldn't stay at that level) then Messi. But Messi is 25(!), so he has a good 7-8 years to blow everyone out of the water.
before messi, i agree, add bergkamp and thierry too but messi is pretty unparallelled now...it will be interesting to see how he does when xavi retires
Pretty funny but my friend who works at Disney waited on him and took a picture with him and says even that's an inflated height number.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't QPR still at the bottom of the EPL? Announcers talking about Harry Redknapp who has to be one if not the most overrated coach ever, right behind miracle worker Martin O'Neill lol, like he's in 1st place LMAO anyway. Always good for a laugh. QPR will be in the Championship next year. I'm sure the media will hail Harry's wonderful job.
Redknapp is a media butt boy. Anything he does, they will prop him up. MON is about to be out soon anyway.
Yeah, which just helps put our last game in perspective. It's hard to go out week-in and week-out and win, just because you are supposed to. Unless you are clearly the class of the league, like a Man Utd or a Barca, there will be clunkers. Lots of them in our case, but we can certainly count on Spurs and Everton having similarly dour performances.
Man United have had a lot of clunkers. We just sold them our best player, and that's helped them get out of jail. They'd be fifth without Van Persie.
