No thread? C'mon now, wake up, you couldn't have had that much to drink yesterday, right?

12:30 pm EST kickoff on Fox Soccer.

Chelsea hung 8 on these guys over the weekend.

Since it's the holiday season, I'll be generous. 5-2 to the Tottenham.

    COYS.

Why, oh why, is Gallas starting over Caulker?

I still don't understand WHY AVB keeps pushing for Defoe and Ade up top, they don't work well together!

I'd rather see Sigurdsson behind one of them

We've got four in a row against crap teams. Sure, we're 7-0-2 against the bottom ten this year but let's try and win at least two of the next four.

Bright start so far. Some good chances there. This game will either be brilliant or incredibly frustrating :D

The fact that our team struggles to score goals in worrying.

We are going to need upgrades in January. We've had 15 corners and with some good chances and yet are still to score, we won't be as dominant in the second half as we were in the first.

And it's 4-0 at the whistle. Which would be worse: being a Villa fan knowing your team had a -12 goal differential over 2 games, or being a Stoke fan and having to try to get behind your team when they're a bunch of despicable scumbags playing an ugly ugly game?

Our biggest away win in a while wasn't it?

outplayed them throughout the whole game. Now have to play Sunderland after they have just beat Man City.

Really pleased we got the 4th goal as that puts us above Everton on goals scored. Our goal difference was way too low for our points total.

And at the halfway point of the season, Spurs are 1 point and 1 goal off of the same fixtures last season.

Considering that the trickiest away matches are already over(the 2 Manchesters, Arse, Everton), that means it's all for the taking in the second half of the season.
