I started this topic early because I saw that on January 5 in the FA Cup, West Ham United-Manchester United will be delayed on FSC. The game starts at 12:15 USA Eastern Time, and FSC is showing a replay of Chelsea-Queens Park Rangers at 12:00 and West Ham United-Manchester United delayed at 2:30. Why?

FSC have not updated their guide. Even the January 1st/2nd matches are very incomplete (delayed matches not listed, basically). I am sure the West Ham/Man Utd. match will be live. I've been waiting for an update so I can post the TV info here and my site. Hopefully they have enough people NOT on vacation to update the programming guide in the next 2-3 days. Thanks for starting the thread!!

West Ham - Man Utd will air live on the main FOX channel. Fox is going with FA cup since they are losing epl next year. In addition, the FA cup final this year will air on FOX main channel. FOX may air more FA cup games this year if the big boys have strong opponents.

"main channel" like OTA (broadcast) FOX or FOX Soccer?

That's good to know. Does anybody know if a domestic cup game (not a champions league) has ever been on broadcast in the USA before? Now that the NFL Playoffs on Saturdays start at 4:30 rather than 1:00, West Ham United-Manchester United will not be competing with the NFL.

That's not what I mean. The only competition that MLS clubs are in that I'm referring to is the U.S. Open Cup.

FWIW, I seem to recall the FA Cup Final airing on Wide World of Sports on ABC many years ago. I remember Jim McKay explaining that the whistling from the crowd was equivalent to booing in the USA.

I'll count that although Telefutura may not be in as many households as CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox.

Looks like ESPN has been doing it's own version of 'flex scheduling' and has passed on the Saturday early kickoff lately.

Exactly. I recall this as well, on ABC in the 70s and perhaps the early 80s.

Yup. Out of the two choices, one was definitetly Spanish, and the other was definitely NOT English.

Only a 30-minute show on both channels. Not sure how much they will show outside of the matches they are featuring....

    FSC: Monday @ 7pm ET

    FS+: Monday 2pm ET (repeat at 8pm)

I sent a problem report in and they said they were working on it. I watched the West Ham/Norwich game instead. Got to it too late to have seen the first goal.

    Thx,

    Jay!

Looking at the schedule at fox59.com, Indianapolis viewers WILL NOT be able to see this match live. WXIN is showing the game on a delay starting at 2:00 pm EST.

The contact information to get in touch with WXIN is:feedback@fox59.com.

In the DC area, FOX 5 lists a "To Be Announced" for Noon on Saturday til 2:30pm. So I'm assuming that's a 'yes' on the Cup match.
