12 seats for the helmet crew. The national team is worth my time I suppose :)

Got mine as well - behind the goal on the opposite side of the SG section where my ST are. Not thrilled I didn't have an opportunity to buy my ST seats.

I am with you brother. I am still miffed about a seat in row A costing 90 dollars more than a seat in row B

Wow, I didn't know that. They better not start doing that at Dynamo games!

What's the issue with the Dynamo not controlling this?

What do you mean "what's the issue"? There is no issue that I'm aware of, the Dynamo do not control this game. The U.S.S.F. has contracted with BBVA Compass Stadium to have this event. It was the same deal for the recent women's game.

Sorry guys, I'm a big USA fan, but there is no way in hell I pay $220 for four tickets for a USA B team friendly and I don't see this one selling out. Don't get me wrong, I hope it does, but it reminds me of the Mexico game when nobody showed up because tickets were way too high. Now there are not as high, but still high for a friendly. Now a qualifier game is different.

Huh? Tickets start at 26 bucks plus fees (33). That is about as cheap as I have ever seen a National team game. Not to mention it is the only friendly before qualifying so I am not so sure it will be a B team.

I don't think USSF lets anyone control their games, anywhere.

btw, i wanna throw something out there: don't be afraid of scalpers.

i have sold and bought scalped tickets (on 3 different continents now, LOL!). when i got down to Rockets games a couple years back there was a very reliable guy that was there every game and usually sold at cost or below for standard games and slightly above for playoffs and the Lakers. he even had some cheap-ass business cards printed up that he would give to his regulars.

outside of BBVA you find 2 types: the pro scalpers and the family of 4 that has 2 extras. i usually go to the 'family of 4 minus 2' or the 'we have 2 brahs missing dudes' because they will usually unload it for beer money.

i'm just saying that if you want into the stadium semi-cheap there are ways. heck, i saw a Rayado fan at 'el Tec' scale a sheer 8 foot wall with the help of his friends one time.* :D

*i'm not officially endorsing illegal activity.

my funny story - the USA Mexico friendly at Reliant. We had bought (4); one son couldn't go, so we were selling at a smidge above face valve to cover fees, etc (i think it was $50). was on the grounds of Reliant (how can you not be - the place is huge), and got busted by some d*()# in a T A&M t-shirt (of course, the son that went goes to UTexas). Cost me a little less than $200 to get out of that one.

We buy scalp tickets all the time, around the country. Try to get 'em from folks looking to unload the lone ticket.

I sold two GA Lawn seats at HDC final at ticket price to a scalper. He was mad when he found out it was a print out. He could suck it. They did work though but I bet he has a hard time selling them

    ^^^ what a d#$% burgular.

i was buying some scalped tix right by one of the Reliant box offices for Mexico - Costa Rica Gold Cup. we hadn't noticed a cop had come up and stood right behind us during the exchange. he gave us one of those "hey, what are you guys doing look", we froze, then he started cracking up and tell us we were OK.

Looks like the game has been pushed back a bit. Some places say 7:30 pm, some say 8:00 pm. Much, much, much better.

I know nothing about that game as I wasn't there. I just wanted access to my ST seats. Now the US SGs have those sections and I have to sit on the opposite side of the stadium. FO could have surrounded us with the Outlaws and Sam's Army. Where's the loyalty? That's my "issue".

I suppose you might be missing the point a bit :). The FO has nothing to do with the game or tickets so they have no option to save your seats. USSF signed the deal with the stadium. The only thing they do as a courtesy is send some emails. In fact junior staff may not even get tickets through FO ... at least not guaranteed

No point missed...understand clearly that that they contracted through the stadium. That doesn't mean screw the STHs who have been here all season. Some of us have been waiting a while for the national team to play here.

I just don't see who is screwing us. We are not STH customers of the national team or the stadium. We ate customers of the Dynamo. It would be like blaming the Texans for screwing me out of my seats at an Eagles concert in Reliant.

No wonder there were all the empty seats last season. And here we thought corporations were responsible for the no-shows at game time. Guess not.
