Fine him the maximum and drop him for a few games. If it's true.

I think that would be crummy of him. Very unprofessional. I have no idea how the club would react to that.

Rumours have been going around for a while now that was leaking stuff to the press. Why has Mou only done something about it now? I doubt they could get any evidence of him doing so anyway.

Well homeboy is engaged to a sports reporter......wouldn't be surprised if there was more than one type of "leaking" going on the sack. :)

I suspect it is about more than any alleged leaking of stuff to the press. The coaching staff must see him as one of the players willing to push against them or that he is leading a coup.

The drop breaks the stone not by force, but with perseverance.

Could mean anything, from supporting the coach and showing perseverance to not quitting until he's gotten rid of Mourinho. That's just the way Iker probably wanted it to be, to leave it open for interpretation.

I can tell you how the pro Mou groups are interpreting it: There is a very Spanish saying that comes to mind with that picture. It is akin to saying 'the straw that broke the camel's back.'

Whatever the case, probably not the smartest move by Iker.

Napoleon talked about the decisive moment in a battle, which is probably similar to what Alma was referring to:

He made Riera and Torres look like good players though, imagine what he could do with Ronaldo and Benzema.

Ouch on the 3 ACL tears, btw! Hope you can still walk around.

Whoops decided to delete since I want sure what he meant by Benitez but I def don't wana see him here so yeah I'd rather tear my ACL a 4th time than see that happen. Yeah I'm currently recovering after recently having my 4th surgery. I was successful apparently but my doc tells me I should consider never playing sports again :( and I'm only 25. I dont know if i can stop with soccer tho ha.Oh well least I can keep working out now that I'm in good shape.

Edit again - somehow forgot to say thanks for the well wishes, gna be a long year but least the surgery is over with.

Or maybe to him it means, "That was the last drop". Or, "Esa fue la ultima gota..." And he didn't even bother to read the caption below - he just liked the picture as it was the first one on "Google".

    It's Polish for, "Damnyouguyssuck".

I am referring to a comment Benitez made a couple of days ago insinuating that he knew what was happening at Real Madrid this summer but that he shouldn't comment on it. I have no idea what he meant.

Yup. Has two opposite connotations: either "keep at it and eventually you'll succeed" or "ya me hartaste" (finally got fed up with you).

Raul would never have allowed this mess to get so far out of control #sigh

Did Lewandowski say that to his team mates while looking at the Bundesliga table?

Let's not act as if Raul didn't have his hand in all sorts of team group stories. The difference is that his always kept a spotless reputation, while Iker's is slightly damaged after the Sara Carbonero - Cristiano Ronaldo thing, and just his general attitude in the past two years. The Iker- Mourinho thing isn't something new. They were not seeing eye to eye from the start, remember the first few clasicos?

My point still stands that even when there was group turmoil with Raul involved...I dont see him letting it get this so far out of hand that it affects on field play to be so terrible. I believe he would have got it resolved by match day 3 or at least tried. Iker "seems" to be instigating the issue rather then putting results on field first.

But then I could have a whole misinterpretation of the whole situation.

The most logical reason for this I believe is our lack of flexibility in the team..I mean any 8 year old will know who will start on this team and who will get subbed for who. Same formation...not giving certain players rest...especially Xabi. Not benching Ronaldo ever. Determined to keep Ramos in center when a better center in Varane is available and Ramos is still a better RB then Arbeloa.

Havent had a "great" midlfield in so long..but this season I cant remember seeing so many long balls from a Madrid side...seems we have been slowly turning into a premeirship under Mou...and it doesnt work in La Liga as has been shown this season.

And can anyone give me a footballing reason why Kaka has got so little playing time this season?
Especially considering how badly other players have been playing? Meh

So what you mean is, he would have gotten Mourinho fired by match day 3.

Again, what is the problem with that?

In the first half, Di Maria crosses it over to Ronaldo, he can't convert, then another cross from the right to Ronaldo, and he hits it with a weak shot. Di Maria lobs the goalkeeper but the ball goes out, Benzema is put through on goal and he manages to give the ball away in embarrassing fashion (and he's supposedly our "technically skilled striker"), Özil has a chance and it's deflected for a corner, could have been taken better obviously. We're out on a 3 on 2 and we f*** it up.

If we convert half of those, we hit Malaga hard and they don't even know what hit them while we hit them with counters as they try to turn the score over, which is how this match should go.

Again, the problem is the attack. We're having a box load of good goal scoring opportunities every match, and we fail to convert them, obviously the opponent is going to capitalize on that one chance and punish us (Betis match for example).

For all the talk about Xabi and Arbeloa, Benzema has not put in the performances he should have now that he is a starting striker by default. He has gained a bit of weight, looks slow and disappears for certain parts of the game. Ronaldo tries to do everything on his own, which is not an issue of him being "brainless" as some forum experts claim, but it seems like a trust issue. There is no confidence between the players when it comes to converting the chances.

That is our main problem. We had a phase in the first half where the match looked like a cake walk, and we were creating chance after chance. If you get those easy goals, you have the confidence to play a more commanding game because everything works more instinctively.

Maybe a striker loan can give Benzema a kick in his behind to get it together, or give the team a fresh start with a few goals to get them up and running.

Because he's only in Madrid because nobody else would take him unless it was for free. That in itself should show you his value right now and give you a little insight on his playing time.

We're trying to sell Kaka's name, not the footballer. Why would we want him out on the pitch losing his value?

I'm glad this is Mourinho's last season. I was sick of him from the beginning.

Feels especially good that Pellegrini is the one helping him out of the door.
