tough match, though in the big matches, we only lost against Barça (3-2) and Dortmund (2-1) this season

    I would play like this:

    San Iker
    Arbeloa - Pepe - Ramos - Nacho
    Xabi Alonso
    Ozil - Modric
    CR7 - Benzema - Di Maria

You already got the training clip! Here's Mourinho's Press Conference (we haven't been posting the full conference in YouTube lately so more people visit our site but we did yesterday):

    Credit: Gaëlle from Madridismo Org

About Málaga's sanction (there's a strong possibility that they won't be able to play in any UEFA competitions during the next four years) and how it will affect them in tomorrow's match:

I'm not in a position to analyze that decision, but I hope that there are ways to solve this sanction in case Málaga qualifies for a European competition next season, because if the professionals --coach and players who work for that objective-- earn on the field the right to play, it would be sad to see them punished for motives that have nothing to do with sports. I hope for them that there is a solution because there's still time.

About Rafa Benítez saying that he knows things that will happen at Real Madrid from next June on but that he can't say anything about it at the moment. What did Benítez mean?

I don't know what he meant and I'm not really interested in knowing. As a Chelsea fan, I hope that he wasn't thinking about Real Madrid-related things while Chelsea was playing Corinthians.

About saying after the tie against Espanyol that it was up to every person individually to get their spirits high again to keep going. Is it because there is no group spirit anymore or because you don't feel part of that group?

No, I feel part of the group and I think there is group spirit, but whoever works in a group knows, or should know, that each person has their own identity and personality, and that each person should be able to find within themselves strength and motivation. As far as I'm concerned, I've found motivation to come to work on the first day of the week, and perhaps to do so with more energy and motivation than the week before. Losing is not what I'm most experienced in. I have more experience winning than losing. I've found out this morning --I had no idea-- that tomorrow will be my 400th match in first division with under 10% defeats, I lost less than 40 times in first division, out of 400 matches. So it's not my natural habitat, but I had to adapt and look at the situation and the only solution is to work as hard as possible and, for the next 400 matches, to try to win as much as I have so far. And the same goes with the players. Each of them on their own has to find that strength and motivation, and then when we work as a group we try to help each other and try to improve. As I've been saying, and I don't have any problem in repeating it nor am I ashamed, we are not happy with our results these past few months.

About the tough schedule in the next two months. How are you approaching these "Russian mountains", knowing that there is little time for training?

I think it's more interesting to find out how it is possible to have such differences from one team to another. That's what should be questioned.

About whether Real Madrid is going to buy any player during this transfer window and whether Kaká will still be here in January:

I don't think so [answering the first part of the question]. I can't tell you for sure, but I don't think there will be any use of the transfer window at Real Madrid.

About tomorrow's match feeling like an ultimatum:

No, I think it doesn't help us to focus on the point difference and how far or how close we can end up after tomorrow's match. Our only solution in my opinion is: to play every game to win and to improve, not to choose a competition over the other --regardless of the competition, it's our duty to give our best effort to try and win every match, to take advantage of the opportunities we have to work hard as a group when we have the possibility to do so --like this past week, it was a very good week of work, to hope that the players who are not playing are close to making their comeback --players we've never talked about during these tough times in which we lost points and missed key player, and to play this match. After that, the players have a week off and when they come back we're going to have another possibility --from 12/30 to 01/06-- to work well as a group. Improve, make it to the end of the season, do the math, assess what we did well and what we did poorly.
About playing Manchester United and whether it feels special going back to England:
It's too soon [to discuss Manchester United]. No, no, I don't want to talk about the Champions League. It's too soon.

About the year 2012: you mean the Liga and the Supercopa but you're not happy but the results of the past few months. How would you grade yourself?

I don't give myself any grade, but the assessment is easy to make: as you've said, we won the Liga, we earned it; this season we won the Supercopa, which is the least important competition but, as "little" as it is, it is meaningful given that it was against our direct opponent; and then in the second part of the year --the first part of season 2012-2013, we did what we had to do in Champions but not in Liga, so it's easy to make an assessment.

About whether it's better for Kaká to leave or not, and whether tomorrow could be his last match as a Real Madrid player:

I don't think he's leaving, I think he's going to stay. As I've always said, if he stays --which I think he will do-- it's a good thing for us because it's an extra option we have.

About Fabio Coentrao recurring injuries and whether that's why he's not playing:

Yes, he's injured. I don't want to and I can't say much more. But the stats speak for themselves. In my opinion, when he plays, he plays well. You can disagree with me, but I think that when he plays, he plays well, and he plays better and better. But he gets injured, several times, and when he does, his recovery takes longer than we thought.

About his opinion about the Madrid press at the moment and whether he feels they do a good or a poor job:

It's the other way around. We're not here to analyze your work. That's your job to analyze ours. If you do it with honesty, a clear conscience and professionalism, great, you'll be at peace for Christmas. If you feel inside of you that you're not always honest or worthy of your profession, then your holiday will be less peaceful, but it's not our job to analyze your work, it's yours to analyze ours.

About Florentino saying that tensions are not a good thing for Real Madrid and whether Real Madrid is the club where Mourinho found the highest level of tensions:

No, I don't want to make any comments, no comments, no comments.

Aside from set plays, what other aspects are you working on the most? What are you asking your midfielders to work harder on?

We have to improve every aspect of the game.

About Tito Vilanova: Did you send him any message? How did you feel about the piece of news?

What I do in private, I don't make it public. Whether I called Vilanova or sent him an SMS or contacted him, that's a personal matter that I don't have to confirm or deny or make public. When a fellow professional has a problem, I'm like everybody, I think that, when facing this type of things, we belong on the same side and we want the same thing. Tito, his family, whoever goes through health problems --whether these people are football-related or not, their families, we're together in this and we're all winners.

About the callup sheet including 5 defenders and whether Nacho will be considered to substitute for an injured Coentrao:

As you've said, we have 5 defenders. Four of them will play and one will be on the bench.
About Málaga: They sold many players last season due to the financial problems they're going through. They made a brand new team and yet they're measuring up. What do you think about their season so far and where does the danger come from?

A very good season. Champions, good; league, good too in my opinion. They play well. I only have good things to say about them. A very good job by the technical staff and the players. The danger is the same as with any Liga team, especially when they are ranking high. They defend well, they don't receive many goals --they're the team that got scored the least. They have fast offensive transitions, forwards who score --they're different, Saviola and Santa Cruz are not the same, creative players --Isco, Joaquín, strong players --Eliseu. It's a very good mix and a very good team. I'm expecting a difficult match.

Do you have the solution for what Real Madrid is going through at the moment, sportswise? Who is more to blame: you and your technical staff or the players?

The blame is on the same persons who are to blame for winning the Liga. They're the same people. Whoever is to blame for the great season last year is also to blame for the current situation. If you think the players won the Liga, then they're losing the Liga at the moment. If you think the coaches won the Liga, then they're losing it at the moment. If yout hink that both players and coaches won the Liga, both players and coaches are producing the current poor results. The blame is on the same persons.

    About Isco:

    A very good player.

    Training yesterday:

Cristiano was with Adan, his gym partner (Pepe was jogging with a trainer seperately)

    Whooo. Props to Jose.

Iker has been shit for a while now and it's about time he was dropped. What makes him so special that he should play every game, not giving a single ******** on how he performs?

He should be dropped. End off.

Really? Really? There is a whole list of players I could tell you that fit into the criteria, and it sure as hell doesn't look like they are being dropped.

Real Madrid starting 11: Adán; Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Essien; Di María, Xabi Alonso, Khedira, C. Ronaldo; Özil, Benzema.

If Mou could field 10 different other players then i am sure he would. Just becuase its Iker, it doesnt make him prone to sittting on the bench every now and then. Considering he has been piss poor recently.

He has already done the same to Ramos. OMGGGG Witch hunt by Jose.

This move has very little to do with "form", and a lot more to do with "dressing room" politics.

You mean Xabi can't be easily replaced by Modric? You're telling me there is more of a drop off in replacing Xabi with Modric than replacing Iker with Adan? Come on man. This has absolutely nothing to do with form. Goalkeeping is the least of our problems.

Form, dressing room politics... doesn't matter. Jose is showing the players who is boss. If you dont want to play for the manager then sorry, its bye-bye.

EDIT: Agree with Xabi btw. Maybe Mou has seen something in him to give him another chance.

    1. Goalkeeping is not the least of our problems.
    2. Just because it isn't doesn't mean that Adan isn't a far worse option.
    3. Why do we hire managers? We should just hire Valdano or someone to pick the most desired teams and to give short and sweet interviews.

I don't agree with this move, but every time the manager makes a decision which isn't status quo the heavens quake... at least in Madrid.
