Rivas not Ribas. No one knew who he was before his BS move to River then a ever crazier move to Inter

Dude Espinosa is 22..... that is insane to write him off

Tanque Ruiz dude was only a half season wonder and no one really knew about him.

Si Nelson Rivas. Me hizo confundir Diego. ^^

Igual solo eran ejemplos.

No desaparecieron.

I like this thread, excellent idea MATADOR179

I do agree with Pipe, I wouldn't call Rodallega "fracaso". Yes, after the 2005 Sudamericano we all expected much more from him, but the guy is several years now playing in the EPL and usually in the starting lineup. I also expected more from Asprilla & Angel but you cannot call them a fracaso as well. Fracaso for me is Johnnier, Pino (how come you still didn't mention the guy? major fracaso), Castrillon, Otalvaro (pepino, one decent 6 months doesn't erase it. The guy was one of the stars in 2003 sub-17 and also in sub-20 and didn't even play in Europe. and no, sitting on the bench in Ukraine is not Europe).

Bernardo Espinoza? I wouldn't call him fracaso as well. We didn't know him until his good game in the Spanish cup which opened a door for him in Sevilla's first team. He had few good months, called up for the NT and that's it. No expectations from him.

Marco Perez? Huge fracaso. Now this is a guy that I was positive in his success after his good seasons in Argentina. Huge fracaso with Zaragoza and now he plays with O'Higgins.
John Jairo Mosquera? Huge fracaso as well. Came to the 2007 Sudamericano as one of the sub-20 stars with Darwin Quintero, plays so many years in Germany but mostly as sub and mostly in second division.

Wason Renteria..... big super sub in Brazil then went to Porto Loaned to a small French team rumors of Milan & Bayern and playing at fing Millos. Also great season with Braga they wanted to keep him and he went to Brazil. Either an idiot or has a awful agent

Pino - maybe will play in Greece dude looked great but only had 5 good games 5 years ago and people still ask for him on the senior team

Teofilo - yup dusty Teo. Guy has it all to be up there with Falcao in top teams of Europe wrecking hacok but him being an idiot and antics in Turkey & Argentina now have him in Mexico. He is the new Asprilla

G10 - Giovani Hernandez was so good in 1998. I was very excited about him and 14 years later after sucking it up on the NT people still want him to be on the NT

Cristian Zapata - 26 no longer promising and yet to start on the NT. Has to be a reason coaches pick fing Valdez, Perea, Aquivaldo and Yepes over him. It's not that they are all World Class.

What Crzd ment is regarding his career and I agree. Teo is very talented and if he was less idiot, he would make a great career in European club, plays champions league tournaments instead of fight with Racing's 2nd keeper, return to Junior and sign with Cruz Azul...

Damn, after the Sudamericano I was so positive that we have a new diamond in hands and honestly, I do think that the kid is talented, but like many other talented Colombian players, I guess that other things messing with his mind and prevent him from concentrate in his career. Very ashame.

Toja has only 1 foot, a pot problem and is banned by the NT for leaving Santa fe for free. I really like him but dude was in Europe for a while and making bank in the MLS now.

Libis Arenas still makes me sad. Same with Landuazzi or w/e the Once Caldas/2003 sub 20 keeper name was. 2 awesome keepers and now MIA. Libis is still young for a goalie but still neither of them even play professionally anymore

Zapata because he should be a starter on the NT. He is like 5th choice and none of our CBs are all that great.

Wason really? He has been bad since he left Braga. Winning a title with Millos this season doesn't change anything. Dude was at Porto and wanted by Bayern. Being in Colombia and potentially going to Mexico is a huge huge failure.
