What are your thoughts, ideas, or suggestions for the new uniform? Any rumors yet? An orange/black striped shirt, or orange/yellow stripe would be nice looking. Maybe striped socks, similar to the large black and orange tifo this autumn.
Nothing too drastically new. I would like to have a few small touches of space city blue, nothing major though.
I'd like to have a home shirt that doesn't have random blue stripes or weird designs. If it was straight up orange with space city blue adidas stripes (or white stripes with blue piping somewhere, like the third kit) then I'd buy it in a second. It would also be nice if we changed up our second kit to something that isn't white.
I am not sure what color you go with for an away kit. Teams have home kits encompassing light blue and black already.
We can usually wear our first jersey (orange) on road games. It's really just the red, or mostly red, home teams that necessitate a second, non-orange jersey. Blue jerseys could work fine in those games, as we'd wear orange jerseys on the road against home teams that are mostly blue or black. I also endorse the no goofy swirls or other random elements concept.
Regular season league games in 2012: Home Orange shirt - 16 games Red shirt - 1 game Away Orange shirt - 13 games White shirt - 4 games Those 4 were at Chicago (red), at Columbus (yellow), at TFC (red), and at Chicago (red). Our 2nd shirt could be almost any color except red or yellow.
I am holding out hope that we can get a 3rd kit in 3 years or so that is space city blue. At this point i just want a little blue to make sure they havent officially killed it off.
Yeah, that last jersey is too tight. My fav is the second one the dynamo had in 07-08. I will not buy another like this last one. I bought an XL that fits me like a Medium.
