We can all agree on one thing, BeIN is incredibly below par with Serie A coverage... I've had to find illegal streams because I have FiOS and last year I could watch all but 2 matches between UCL, Serie A and Coppa Italia. Between ESPN 3, fsc and fsc2go I didn't have to go for illegal streams. BeIN doesn't even have an online streaming services. Oh and I thought Ray Hudson was funny for the first couple of matches he did but now I think he's way worse than any Fox Soccer shill they placed on match day in mid February.
I don't have BeIN (or cable/satellite at all, just cable internet) but I will say this. They don't seem to aggressively try to keep match highlights off of YouTube the way that Fox (?) did. I'm not watching shaky videos of some guy holding his camcorder up to his tv screen for that stuff.
i HATE that serie A show they have that shows the highlights...its the same program that was on FSC too...i like how they make it like a movie with the little music and stuff but it can be done so much better AND show the GOD DAMN REPLAYS at least from different angles. I swear I have seen them show the goals only ONCE! they dont even replay them even once more. Then u see other higlights shows, especially for EPL...not only u see it from multiple angles but like 6 times...then the commentary after it. This show is a disgrace to a highlight show.
beIN just buys the highlights show, they don't produce it. That same highlights show is shown around the world. You can even watch it on YouTube.
Just feels like BeIN would rather show some mid table clash between like Espanyol and Mallorca instead of showing a good Serie A match. Maybe its just that BeIN bought all these rights to different leagues while only having 2 channels. If I was a huge La Liga fan, BeIN would be a god send if I had it, but Serie A? I'm really looking forward to Ray Hudson yell like some homeless guy on PCP about how Cavani just scored a goal, or Pirlo hit a good free kick, or anything important happening during a match. But the commentating isn't the worst part to me, its pretty much how they bought the rights to all these leagues and only have 2 channels and no streaming service. They couldn't even sell some games to ESPN3 or anything. ESPN3 was far from perfect but what mattered is they gave people access to games when the game was live.
I'm more inclined to blame the league for selling the rights to an organization that did not have a sound plan for marketing and exposing the league to a larger audience.

I don't particularly see how a 3rd string keeper who didn't play with us during Coppa Italia win could mean that we lose that too... Its very interesting how its all unfolding
