Howdy y'all. When I had my site up and running I had a "Foto del dia" during the offseason to ease the boredom of life without soccer. Since my site is currently under wraps (and has been for a while), I thought I'd start a thread where I (or anyone who wants to participate) could post a pic once a day to help keep the offseason away. It doesn't matter if you own the foto or not. If it's a cool shot and it involves RSL in any way, post it! I'll kick it off with this shot of Jason (looking as interested as ever) and Garth at the Utah State capitol after Gov. Herbert announced November 24th as Real Salt Lake day. :
I saw the Portland onesie he put up on twitter. While I liked Johnson, it'll be Olave and Espindola I'll miss the most.
Hey, look it says "BOZ" in the corner... edit: by the way, in my mind, this is the single greatest photo EVER of an RSL player because... wow. Eddie Pope... that man was EASY on the eyes.
Okay okay, I didn't mean to upset y'all. How about this one, courtesy of Christopher Reeves? http://christopherreevesphotography.blogspot.com/p/portfolio.html
Thundercats are bad ass! I always thought Olave and Panthro had distinct similarities... That shot of Pope has GQ written all over it. Borchers looks quite like his normal self compared to everyone else in that shot. Here's my entry for the day. The Cletus Smash! *Edit: The picture up above is what the idiots that run US Soccer claimed was the reason they denied my photog credential request for the US v El Salvador match at the Riot a few years back. US Soccer media relations department are a bunch of hacks. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Nat makes the strangest faces while playing I've never seen a picture of him, during play, where it doesn't look like he is doing an impersonation of John Mayer
RSL needs to get this kid together with some gospel choir and do a video with lyrics. If a gospel choir can't be found, I'm sure the sisters of the Sandy 20th Ward Relief Society would be glad to fill in .
Oh yeah--that thing needs to go up on the big screen at the Riot. Gimme an A-men! Can I get an Uh-huh?
I'm working with RSL right now to get something done with this kid. His level of talent and commitment reminds me of how badly I suck at life.
