This made me think of restaurant-eer Stuart Anderson, he of the self named Stuart Anderson's Black Angus restaurants. He has a big ranch on I-90 outside of Ellensburg, Wa. with a big sign along the freeway. It was quite often defaced to read "Stuart Anderson's Black Angus Ranch".
Goodsport? Your are projecting way to much into that joke... I'm still not buying your conculsion it was racist... Next thing you know, we'll be labeled racist by all the Tumblr experts in the world, for calling a kiss ass a "brown nose".
Yes Did you really think I was serious. If it was going to be racist against me, it would have had to have been "Red" instead of "Brown" There were a lot of racist comments about Diego Serna back in the day. Maybe the Jackboot fits. I dunno.
i hope the FO invites players from our past to the opening game, which i suspect will be scheduled against the Scum. and i hope its at night, not during the day to 'accommodate' tv schedules.
you think I'm G's sock puppet? I don't take kindly, even in jest, to being compared to that moron Rush or any of his minions. Err, and to pay homage to the thread title, I hope they have decent wireless at any seat, and an option to connect to the P-B-P so I can plug in ear bud and hear the talking heads in the booth while I'm watching from my seat...
"Dave Kaval New Stadium Q&A - Part 1" (SJEarthquakes.com - Thursday, 12/6/12) GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Has an official description ever been given about how the supporters area behind the goal will be configured? Will I be able to walk from field level to the top of the stadium in section 119-122 or will there be a break between the lower bowl and the upper bowl? And since the supports now get all of 120 and 121 will they still get the lower area below 119 and 122?
Particularly in the upcoming field-level seats connected to all of The Epicenter's suites. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
No one has answered those questions. Maybe in the next installment of Kaval's blog. I think he mentioned that the Supporters Section will be a topic then. When I picked my seats in the new stadium, I suggested to the salesperson that they correct the pricing on the seating chart on the website, but it remains inaccurate with Sections 120 and 121 still priced at $400/yr. I think the Supporters Section will be the entire lower area and Sections 120 and 121. Realistically, sections 119 and 122 will probably turn into standing sections in order for the ticket holders there to see the field. The FO should have addressed these issues before tickets went on sale, but I imagine they were stretched and more focused on selling the suites and more expensive seats.
Though I still wish that the San Jose Earthquakes had made it to and won the MLS Cup final this season, the absolute disaster that would've been a final at Spartan Stadium (the only venue realistically left in consideration once Stanford Stadium became unavailable) further illustrates yet another reason why we need The Ep up and running ASAP, as does potentially having to use Spartan Stadium for the final next season.
