I don't know why the Terps are continually trying to attack up the middle when both goals came by getting width and throwing crosses in and beating G-town to the second header.
Recruiting: Sasho > Wiese In-game coaching / preparation: Wiese > Sasho From the get-go, Georgetown has been ready to play and has "put Maryland on its heels."
And wouldn't ya know it, Maryland scores the tying goal attacking up the middle. Shows, once again, what I know.
A year ago, UCLA-North Carolina in the SF was a classic, 2-2. A really good game loaded with future MLS players that either team could have won. And this game puts that one to shame! EDIT: OK, not shame as that game had better defense. But this one is definitely more exciting.
I'm watching college soccer for the first time in a loooong time right now. Great game. Why does the NCAA play a version of soccer that is not consistent with the rest of the world? I.e., the numerous subs?
Maryland fans can never complain about college soccer not using FIFA rules. If this game was played under FIFA rules, Maryland's depth and ability to shuttle in fresh, skilled players doesn't come into play and odds are the Terps don't come back. PS....
