Out of contract players.. De Guzman, Avilia and Clark are most interesting.De Guzman would require a DP slot (our third) so i dont see that.

It hasnt been released yet, word has it that every club passed in round 1... except Chicago.

word has Maicon Dos Santos from DC was selected by the Fire.

  5. His wiki page is already updated. Well traveled in his career we are his 6th stop since 2010. According to wiki he has decent size (6'1") AND a green card. This looks like cover for Macdonald.

insurance at 100k a year? I'm open to this, but skeptical. We'll see how it turns out.

He's roughly making in between a 2nd or 3rd string salary. But coming in with significant starting experience. He isnt a world beater, but as I said.. the Fire are paying him a bench player salary in MLS.He had a good season for DC, dont know why they let him go.But this looks to be a good depth move.

  9. A hundred grand for an MLS back-up striker looks like a steal. He's supposed to have a good long range shot.

Tell me you're kidding about wanting De Guzman? That guy sucks. SUCKS. Maicon Santos seemed to finally find his form last season with DC. I say it's a good pick up.

I don't know about Dos Santos. Can he finish?

If he can, this isn't the team for him. We have an identity to maintain, and that is that we are a team full of people who can't finish, and Chris Rolfe.

I mean, Chad Barrett could have returned here and fit right in!

2nd or 3rd string? Has to be less than 100K then right.

Just what we need another DM.....By the way he SUCKS, not only would we have to make him our third DP, but we would have to pay an extra $250,000k to do so.....

    SORRY , but NO THANKS......

My guess is we'd only take De Guzman if we could get him for Keane type money.

We don't need another DM, we need someone that could put the ball into the net.......

If we are going to go after a third DP, it better be a offensive player, not a defensive player.....

    Would 30,000 pounds be sufficient?

Guy scored seven goals and three assists last year for D.C.... outdoing the individual production of almost our entire team.

I'd say he's at least worth a shot at 100K. For someone that's scored a few goals in MLS, that's not a bad rate at all.
