    ... family fun zone.

What a great name for a great place! With the Scoreboard Bar I know my family will be spending time at "The Ep".

Eat your heart out Rancho Cucamonga!

Gee, I wonder what they'll call the stadium ....

Haven't they already been using the term "Epicenter" for the family fun zone at Buck Shaw?

I've been thinking about it, and the only other real possibility is it being called Wolff Stadium. If Lew wants a real legacy and to have something lasting from his fabulous wealth, this is something I would fully support and be happy about. After all, with no Lew, we would not have the Earthquakes back.

What's a few tens of millions between billionaires?

If it's just "Epicenter", it is essentially named after a natural disaster, in which case I guess God would be sponsor? Could be a highly lucrative deal, or at the very least, it could perhaps be "arranged" such that the Quakes win a whole bunch of MLS Cups in a row :).

Yea, I know. I just wanted to rub it in that the stadium won't be called "The Ep". :)

You have got to be kidding me. Not a snowball's chance in hell it gets called Wolff Stadium, unless there is some huge corporation out there called "Wolff" that wants to sponsor it. Other than having a sponsor name, it will be called Earthquakes Stadium, or some variation of that.

There is Wolf Camera. "Wolf(f) Stadium - there you go - two birds, one stone. Of course I don't know that "Wolf Camera" is exactly thriving in the digital / internet age, but nonetheless...

It would be funny, don't you think? and they are a fairly big company. But I don't think there's any chance.

Well of course. I'm saying if Lew wanted to, he could very well do it. But apparently being 76 years old you have to hold on to that incredible fortune. I guess he needs a little more Donald Trump style megalomaniac in him.

More Trump would help. But, hell, speaking as someone from that neighborhood, I don't think a 70-something guy gives a shit.
