In my 8 1/2 years here, I have never started a gameday thread, so here's hoping our fortunes turn. And as much as I am in appreciation for the fine start by WBA this season, let's send the Baggies packing!!!
Edit: I obviously still suck at graphics. The pictures were bigger when I posted them.....

Hmm... noticing this conspicuously wrong date, makes me wonder if by chance you lifted the graphics from a previous year's AFC-WBA matchday thread. ;)
p.s. At the rate we keep losing games, it won't be long until I follow in your footsteps Val... after 6.5yrs I can't recall starting a MD thread.
p.p.s. Oh lady luck, please keep me from having to do this! Let us go on an invincibles-like run from here until May!

It don't matter, if the date or time, on the thread intro, is spot on.

Any Goonner worth his salt, will know when it is...and know where to watch it.

What matters, is that we still gather here, and support...THE ARSENAL.

And the part I like best, was the use of this ARSENAL CREST.

    COME ON YOU GUNNERS!
And yes, you should do it next NorthBank....but let us hope that it will be a while.;)

So I guess we are seeing the usual starters for this one?

    Podolski---Giroud---Walcott

    Cazorla----Wilshere---Arteta

    Gibbs---Verm---Mert--Sagna

Hopefully the core is rested and can take the field with energy and purpose.

WBA is playing some very nice football these days and will be a tough opponent.

    COYG!!!!!

Lets be honest guys, things are really not as awful as the press will want you to believe. We are only 5 points behind Spuds and WBA for fourth. The first team got some rest and should be up for it at home. I'd love to see Rosicky and Caz work together in the MF. They are both talented and quick. I am hoping for a win here.

WBA is a pretty tidy & efficient side. They're better than the sum of their parts. Long is annoying, but effective. Odemwingie & Morrison have genuine class. I think we can get at the defense, though. JUST FINISH OUR CHANCES!!! PLEASE!!!

Well hopefully the midfielders a little more rested this time will work. And a fit Tomas. I will suspect however Wenger will use Tomas as a sub for maybe Arteta or Wilshere. Perfectly fine with that. All 4 of the main midfielders (Cazorla, Arteta, Wilshere, and Tomas) are quality when fully fit.

Giroud will also probably start as well which will allow us to see that good old Podolski-Gibbs partnership that has been great before Gibbs got injured.

Hopefully we will see the Arsenal that played against...umm....the game when Diaby played? That's the last time I remember us dominating.

I rather see the Arsenal that played Derby County that day long ago... only with less Adaybayor.

If I could have my say, I'd take that AFC team with RvP, Cesc, and Nasri that killed Everton 3 (?) seasons ago. :(

Denilson's SPFC is in the final of the Copa Sudamericana. 0-0 way leg yesterday. So . . . good for him, I guess.
