my reversed order pr preference, just avoid Real and Juve

    Real
    Juventus

    Milan (only because they're Milan)
    Porto
    Arsenal

    Benfica/Celtic
    Galatsaray/Cluj

The probability of getting an easier draw is better if we top the group, thanks to BVB and Schalke. As for us drawing Real/Arsenal/Juventus/Milan/Porto, though it seems like a tough draw, they finished second for a reason. Except for Real and maybe Juve, who can be tricky opponents, imo we can beat the other teams. Before anyone misunderstands, I mean we can beat Real and Juve too, but it won't be as easy as with the others.

In case we finish second by any chance, I'd love to play ManU, and shut them up once again. My preference though is a Bayern-Milan matchup. I have a friend who's a big Milan fan, and I need to shut him up :D

I'll happily take Milan. Would like to avoid Porto, Juve and Madrid should we finish first.

When EQ says he wants a Bayern-Milan tie, you just know that Milan are in a crisis ;)

I don't think Porto are any easier than Arsenal

Hopefully his last year with us. From now on, only chess for him. He will get injured even playing darts. His shoulder will fall off.

It's sort of like watching Unbreakable, but with Lahm playing Bruce Willis' part and Robben playing Samuel L Jackson's.

Absolutely insane. I know I have beaten and revived this dead horse on too many occasions, but he needs to figure out if he wants to continue playing with us.. he should quit international football during Christmas.

If we finish top of the group, I almost guarantee that we will play either Milan or Mardid. We almost always land one of those two on the first opportunity to do so. I don't think any other side in Europe has played more knock-out round matches against Madrid than us over the past 15 years.

It is the most frequent match in European Cup history.

I would put money on us facing them in the round of 16.

Oh you know it's going to happen. I'd be shocked if we manage to avoid Milan or Madrid this year.

I wouldn't mind facing them, but getting knocked out in the round of 16 again would sad. I know we have a great record against Madrid, but the matches between us are almost always a coin toss when it comes to the knock out stage.

In the last 7-8 years, Real Madrid seem to always draw Olympique Lyon.

I also feel Bayern will meet Real. That's the way it goes. I dont know if those draws are fixed but it happens like that.
Liverpool and Chelsea used to meet all the time a few years ago. Arsenal and Barca met 2 years in a row and probably will play again this season.

I would really love to see Sir Alex play against Mourinho. United vs Real. That would be great.

With all due respect to ManU fans on these boards, I think Real would absolutely decimate that team. It would be a bloodbath.

We'll get Milan, and we'll crush them to compensate for all that they ever do to us ...
I would put my money on United ... Real are EXTREMELLY overrated... They spend 6 years getting knocked out on the R16, and them only achieve the Semi-final because they got Lyon (in decline) and Tottenham and the next year CSKA and APOEL ... The 1st real opposition they faced both in 10/11 and 11/12 they were dominated completely ...

Robben likely out for 2012, that's 9 games in 26 matches, or 7 starts in 26 games. Less than 25% of the season up until Christmas, he will have played. :(

Have you actually seen United play this season? If it wasn't for RVP being on fire they would've been humiliated a lot by awful teams. Their defending is woeful and they're relying on their strikers to bail them out. As soon as they come up against quality opposition they will get smashed. Luckily for them there isn't any quality opposition in the EPL right now. Assuming we finish 1st I'd happily take any of the teams that finish 2nd, we can beat them all if we're focused and don't make stupid mistakes.

Man U are the Bayern of 2010.. No defense all offense (RVP)

Right now we are more of a complete team on all fronts. We should get to 1/4 with this team ;)
