Thought Warrior was worthy of its own thread..

    And big news today...

    They have signed fellaini!

Which must be a kick in the teeth for Nike... I personally would have pushed him to be a main face for the legend line.. but it seems like warrior are really going for it.

He will wear the boots today against man city.

That's actually a good signing for them. I wonder who else they'll snag, surely someone on Pool.

Its good high profile signing... but at the same time its like they sponsor the teams local rival and sign the other teams star player?

I think jose enrique will be a warrior wear too, he hasn't changed out of his adizero 1.5 and we are now at adizero III...so who knows

Jonas Gutierrez has been wearing them in training for Newcastle over the last few days. I posted a Getty photo in the player spotting thread about a week ago.

These look like fantastic football boots. Can't wait to try a pair.

IMO, they look eeeky and the color combination is just bad. On top of that, the design looks too complicated!

I am interested in buying a pair, does anyone here own a pair and could give a bit of info on the sizing?

That is because they wear the K leather version.

    I beg to differ .....

No im kidding - i was showing them to a friend last night and was thinking they actually dont look too bad, i like the colour combo. I dont think id personally wear a pair but thats just me. Lets see how many more names they manage to get under their belt. Bellamy was the 'star' to sign up with them wasn't he?

apparently so... wasn't he on board to help design the warrior stuff too?

this is going to sound crazy..but hear me out... i think the overall shape/design of the boot look like the predator power swerves obviously without the fold over tongue. Or ay least a similar shape,I like the black ones, too much going on with the synthetic ones for me

I know where you are coming from. I'm just wondering how successful they are going to be in the UK. I mean they can obviously shove as many Liverpool youngsters as they like in a pair but thats about it. I'm just thinking about previous boot companies like Nomis and Pele - they never really took off.

I know it's not completely comparable, but 5+ years ago Warrior were pretty much unknown in the hockey world. Now you've got top NHLers using their equipment. And they seem to be doing well in sales and expanding their product line (they used to just sell sticks and gloves, now they've expanded to carry all the other protective equipment). So if there is a company that knows how to break in against the established competition, Warrior would be it.

If I were looking to get a top of the line FG boot, I would definitely be getting the K-Lite. And I might get the Blitz Futsal when I need to get new turfs.

That might explain why both boots are awful - lol.

I was asked to trial a womens boot that they were doing, they were like a Lilac colour. And the leather was really soft on them. The nice thing about the ones that i got sent was they didnt have all that rubbish plastic logos they seemed to like to cover their boots in which i personally thought was too chunky and didn't give you the best touch. I think i still have them somewhere.

Don't get me wrong i do like the look of the coloured version. I just don't think that any boot can compete with the bigger brands because either they can't offer the £ to the big stars to wear them or people just don't want to wear an 'unknown' brand.

I had a pair of black out Nomis boots and they were great until the inside(!) of the boot started to rip. You have a point there that it is very hard to sell any boots nowadays without spending a lot of money on marketing.

Snagged a pair of the Skreamer S-Lite - was there anything anyone was curious about on them? I won't be playing in them until Thursday, but if anyone's curious about the fit and feel, I'll do my best to answer/post a pic.

First impressions: very light, Warrior have done a great job in covering the entire vamp in the Arrowhead material, so you kind of don't notice the lack of leather.

Favourite bit: The sockliner is super soft. More than UA's 4D Foam, even.

Concern: The slightly curved studs on an artificial pitch - if they do catch, I could see it being nasty. Here's hoping they don't - they're nowhere near as curved as they look in the pictures.

Was tempted to get the K-lites, but here in Singapore most pitches are Artificial, and those Curved studs look even more culpable to getting stuck in AG than blades.

No worries Mercurial4991 - the inside of my house is in disarray at the moment, so I had to brave the cold this morning:

Brilliant pictures, they look really sharp. If I was to try a pair I think it would be the leather model, but thats just down to preference of leather over synthetic. Look forward to hearing your impressions of the boot though.
