You are getting a bit tiring with your holier than thou attitude and I am not one of these pseudo intellectuals that you are talking about.
I rewatched the 2005 FA Cup Final today. Good memories. I remember squirming about and shouting out at my friends house, as a youngeter, having visited London and the Arsenal just a few months before. Great times! We get so many updates and rumours these days, because of technology, that a few seasons seem to feel like the entire history and future for the club. Let's not forget how new our success was just over a decade ago. I'm not saying the present is acceptable, but let's not forgot our memories afforded to us, nor the future we may have, as a club with the facilities that we have. It's doom and gloom now, but don't get too down guys. Arsenal FC is bigger that this decade and the next!
Who was it that threw the jacket on Da Silva? Looked like he might sucker punch him too.. That would have been even more sweet. Much as I hate Manure they don't stand for shit from their players (normally).
I can imagine getting pulled after a half hour feels terrible, but gawd was the dude throwing the coat over him in disgust hilarious!!
It was their kit man... can't remember his name... been there forever I think. And I think he's the type of guy who might've given him a whack upside the head if the cameras weren't rolling.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-20583970 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-20589509 dutch linesman dies after being beaten by youth team players. adding to that, just this week a (local to me) ref was punched and knocked out by an amateur league player. that's the second time (just that i know of) in the last year or 2.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=1251726&cc=4716 Erm... does anyone watch enough of Zenit to comment on this? Seems like Hulk's just being a huge diva. Didn't he just join Zenit?
It really doesn't matter, that this poor child will grow up supporting Spursss... It matters that he had this....
So no one interested in today's CL matches? Bueller.....Bueller? Looks like Chelsea's gameplan is to try to jump Juve on goal differential. Edit: ....and just as I typed that, the Old Lady scores in their match against Ukrainian former Welsh steel consortium. Edit Part 2: ....and now Chelsea has passed Shaktar on goal differential if things remain the same.
Shaktar qualified last matchday Juve are ahead of Chelsea because they have the head to head tiebreaker. Same as Shaktar. Unless Shaktar scores two, Chelsea are out. The match you want to watch is Celtic/Spartak. Celtic need a better result than Benfica to qualify, and right now it looks like they have it. Barca and Benfica have drawn.
Ugh. Silly me for believing that soccernet's "live table" was accurate. Sheesh, that site is a joke. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/tables?league=uefa.champions&cc=5901
