http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/03/politics/fiscal-cliff/index.html I thought President Obama had a pen to sign a deal when the Republicans sent him one. Did it run out of ink? Off the cliff the country goes - An Obama failure.
The pen is for the bill extending the middle class tax cuts not some right wing fantasy deal that doesn't budge on the top earner tax rate. Forget the election already? Maybe you should review some Obama campaign rallies and see what he ran on and what America voted for by a 5,000,000 margin
Do you think the Republicans could specify a single loophole that they'll close or how the cuts are to be achieved? To quote Paul Krugman...
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/03/papa-johns-obamacare_n_2233525.html Papa John's popularity is falling after founder's comments on the Affordable Care Act. An Obama failure.
No. The President advocated for the Affordable Care Act to target Papa John's. This shows just how anti-business the president is.
The CBO had a report a couple months ago. If Bush tax cuts aren't restored for everyone and Defense cuts restored to budget. Unemployment goes to 9.1 percent and GDP will be 1.7 instead of 2.2.
The American people must be happy with how things are going. They voted status quo. President Obama re-elected. Senate still Democratic. House still Republican. If the American people wanted change - should have voted Republicans out of the House. Or, not re-elected President Obama. Or, voted the Democrats out of the Senate. Four more years of the same. An Obama failure.
And allowing the tax cuts on those making more than 250,000 would have a significantly smaller impact on the economy. Talk about holding the country hostage. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-11-28/breaking-down-the-cliff-the-bush-tax-cuts.html
Which has nothing to do with Obama not accepting the GOP's proposal. This is all part of the negotiation process. Obama put out his proposal, the GOP put out theirs, now they have to negotiate and will, hopefully, meet somewhere in the middle. Schapes failure.
No. Obama getting re-elected and the Dems holding the Senate was an Obama success. However, it was a Republican failure. This is the Obama failure thread. Please stop posting Obama successes here. Schapes failure.
Thought I read that eliminating the Bush tax cuts for those making over $250,000 only nets the country 87 billion which the country spends in ten days. In terms of reducing the deficit - a drop in the bucket. 87 billion dollars versus a trillion dollar deficit. In terms of the debt. Even if you rounded it up to 100 billion dollars and President Obama could keep the debt at 16 trillion dollars (he can't and won't - it will have to be raised in February). It would take the country 160 YEARS to pay the debt down. So eliminating the Bush tax cuts for those making over 250,000 has no impact on the debt or deficit. Class warfare pure and simple. An Obama failure.
What I was pointing out is that the American people if they wanted to affect change (Change the course of Obama's failed policies) failed to do so. They should have changed the make-up of the government. Which during the first four years was characterized by President Obama's failed policies. Since the government is constructed the same. Four more years of Obama failure. President Obama wouldn't/couldn't work with Republican House. Senate run by President Obama's party failed to pass a budget (even though the Republican House has sent budgets to the Senate every year). President Obama promised to halve the deficit by the end of his first term - failed. President Obama promised through his stimulus that was passed unemployment would not hit eight percent failed. President Obama promised that in August of 2012, unemployment would be 5.4 percent due to his stimulus when passed. Failed. President Obama promised to end partisan politics inWashington DC - most partisan President on record. Failure. President Obama promised transparency. Least transparent President on record. See Fast and Furious and TERRORIST ATTACK on US Embassy in Benghazi. An Obama failure. President Obama promised to close Guantanamo. Failed An Obama failure. President Obama promised Immigration reform. Failed. An Obama failure. An Obama failure (legislative body where his party has a majority failed to pass a budget).
Except, assuming they are all failures as you say, it is not an Obama failure that he got re-elected, it is a Republican failure because despite all of that, they failed to put up a candidates that would defeat Obama and the Senate Dems. Republican and Schapes failure.
It is an Obama failure because he convinced the American people to re-elect him. The failure is on President Obama not recognizing his policies have failed miserably. So the American people will be subject to four more years of failures.
I'm not going to hit the "Show Ignored Content" Button" but I am going to go out on a safe limb and say that the dipsh*t has posted the same thing. If you haven't noticed, it not only posts the same thing, it posts EXACTLY the same thing, typos and all. It is impervious to logic and is trolling you. And don't bother giving it a link, it doesn't read them. It doesn't even read its own links, which occasionally contradicts the argument in its post.
