Well, amidst all the doom and gloom, a season goes on. And we have qualified for the next round of the CL!

    So there's that.

Figured I'd have a stab at this since I think we needed a new poster...

Anyone daring enough to post the predicted starting 11? Only thing I know for certain is that Chamakh is starting lol.

What ever happened to Gnabry? I heard he was going to be entering the first team this year? Wouldn't this be a good time to play Eisfeld?

Eisfeld would be nice, I enjoyed his play in the League cup. Tough to win this one without some nonregulars who will be auditioning for more first team time.

Well yes we've already qualified. But if Schalke loses and we win or draw, then we should win the group and theoretically get an easier draw in the first knockout round.

That said, given our relative implosion in the EPL, I figure Wenger is going to rotate heavily for this distant away match in hopes he can revitilize some of our core first teamers.

That's what I want. Schalke isn't going to lose, anyway. Rest everybody, and I mean everybody. Don't even make any of the first teamers get on a plane except for Ramsey, Rosicky, Ox, Santos and Gerv. Maybe not even Ramsey. Take Eisfeld and Gnabry and give them time in the second half.

can't find the link but apparently some of the expected backups are carrying knocks and don't look like being available.
ignasi was one and i *think* gnarby and yennaris were the other 2.

Has Arsene lost it again??? zero ambition to top the group?
what an idiot. you'd think he has learned his lesson from the past failures in this competition.
unacceptable playing the spares in this one.

yeesh, this game is tomorrow? i expect two things- the worst lineup we've run out all season and two, a frustrating loss (they play really well at home if i remember correctly).

then again, olypmpiacos is already out of it, so who knows how seriously they will take this game.

we don't take meaningful league matches seriously, so expect a thrashing from them.

I'm actually fine with him playing a B team to a significant degree. Due to squad depth (lack thereof) & injuries, our main dudes REALLY need a break. This is a good opporunity for that. Plus I've seen more than once our 2nd stringers rise to the occassion and do great. Yes that's more often been seen in the League Cup but still it's possible. Give em a chance!

Edit: And that even applies to Squillacci?!
