Mix, You are my 10 year old daughter's second favorite player behind Alex Morgan. That got me thinking which, (if any,) particular player(s) were an inspiration for you? And/or who are your top 5 all time players?
Why don't you realize how lame that Sting lyric is? (True story...at the time that song came out, I was in a band, just some guys that played out and made beer money on a typical night. Anyway, I thought that song was ridiculous and jejune, so I wrote a response song. The opening lines were Nuclear war would be bad Nuclear war would make me sad My whole family would die Then I know that I would cry It went on like that with silly couplets. Mix would probably be most interested in All my hair would fall out Of that there'd be no doubt Then I couldn't get a date That's a thing that I would hate Yes, the lyrics are stupid. Who were the players you looked up to as a child, trying to mimic/imitate? What were your favorite moments as a fan of the game, growing up? What shaped your soccer style/philosophy of the game?

I will not think of the leauge first, when/if I pick. I would/will focus on the team/club first. But I think that Serie A + the Croatian top flight are the two leagues that have the most intriguing play from my CM perspective.
