FCKC? You can make KFC out of those letters. I wonder if they can be a sponsor.
I do like their logo. And based on the hair of the soccer player, you can tell it's for a women's team.

I also like the green & white logo of Seattle's team.

The symbolism of the egg is quite deep. Femininity at its essence.

I mean, it's not like they didn't copy off the Breakers or anything.

What is known about the NJ team? No news in New Jersey.
The Sky Blue logo shown above was the one used by the WPS related team including the star above the shield to represent the '09 championship. The SkyBlueFC.com web site has been there for a while, showing the same logo used by the WPS related team.

I'm starting to feel newsouth more on this.
We need Los Angeles in this league.
It isn't the same without them.
One of the reasons WPS was so much better in 2009 than in 2010 or 2011, was because of the Sol.
Marta belongs in this league, and she belongs with the Sol.

Could you imagine a Los Angeles Sol team in 2014 with ....

F - Marta, Alex Morgan, Christen Press, Maurine, Rosie White
MF - Kealia Ohai, Zakiya Bywaters, Teresa Noyola, Shannon Boxx, Formiga, Kaylyn Kyle
D - Candace Chapman, Brittany Bock, Julie Johnston, Garciamendez, Carrie Dew, Rachel Quon
GK - Karina LeBlanc, Val Henderson

There's buzz out there that the final two suppliers in communication with the new league are Adidas and Hummel. Either one of them, or potentially both (although doubtful) would be the supplier. I think it'll be Adidas, but Hummel would be cool to.

    Screw Puma at this point.

    Rapinoe and Abby are givens.
For our Canadians, we have dibs on Sinclair and Schmidt.

All we're missing is DC, unless you wanna count @DCFreedom or @DCUWomen...
We're also missing a league Twitter as well - at least the teams without official names have made placeholder accounts.

Uhhhhhhh ... given the "brand issues" that are keeping teams from using MLS names, wouldn't that rule out adidas?

The Portland Franchise seems affiliated with Nike.

Based on this Portland - Canada thing, Sydney would end up in Portland too. Personally, she'd be someone I'd try to get to KC with Mitts, giving them a star go-to forward and a glamour girl. I still think Sinclair ends up in WNY with Lines again. Portland isn't her home, and people aren't hung on her because of Univ of Portland, given the USWNT players will be there, providing the star power. I'm guessing Solo (husband:D) and Horse (boyfriend) star in Seattle. Rampone goes back home to Skyblue, so they'll be my team. I'm guessing Alie Riley comes back and goes to WNY. He has a nice setup in Elma to draw players.

I'm pretty sure Syd's mom lives in Seattle. At any rate, she did, and her ties are there.
She has no ties to Portland that I am aware of.But if she wants to move South, I'm good with it.

I don't think you know squat about Sinclair's ties to Portland. Christine had an apartment here, and may still have one. She is very good friends with Milbrett and could probably stay at her place.. More importantly, she is still a huge draw here.

The last USA-Canada match here she got the biggest cheers along with Rapinoe.

I don't have to know squat, because the USWNT players are the draw. You really think Sinclair is a bigger draw in the USA market than Hope, Horse and Abby. Yeah, I see the big USA advertisers like Coke, Pepsi and Nike running after her. o_O Even Marta wasn't a great draw. Sinclair - WNY makes more sense than stacking her on Portland and Seattle's rosters which look like they will carry most of the top USWNT stars. The same would go for Sydney. What's the point of putting her in Seattle to play behind Morgan again. It's not about knowledge, about common sense.

Hope will be in Seattle as well. Not sure about Morgan. Abby has brand new digs here in Stumptown so I doubt she is leaving.

And Sinclair's popularity in Portland is better than anywhere else. Right after the controversy in the Olys she got a standing ovation here at a UP game when she showed off her medal. She signed autographs for 2 hours. She isn't getting that elsewhere in the USA.

Marta had never been a big draw here despite April fools rumors she would come to college here.

As far as advertising, she has about the same name recognition here as Abby, Hope, or Rapinoe, which I would say is better than anywhere else in the USA.

And as far as national advertising recognition, You are just making nonsequitor noise.
The same argument applies anywhere else she plays in the US. I'm sure there aren't any demographics that say she will make advertisers more money elsewhere except Vancouver BC. There isn't a team going there.

You have 8 teams but you are going to stack 2 of the top 5 forwards in the world on one squad. What sense is that making? Rapinoe, Fullbach and Sofia seem to be the top 3, who end up there. The Flash crowds know Sinclair and so does Lines. You think WNY isn't getting any stars with that nice setup Sahlen has in Elma. Sinclair don't matter in Portland if FullBach and Rapinoe end up there.

Didnt Horse go to seattle because of her boyfriend? Has that changed over the last 10 mths or so? I'd have her in LA if the strikers and pali were in the mix. add press to their resume since he was a pali girl. This makes me think people connected to seattle had their fingers in the decision to keep the strikers/pail out the picture for a year or two, since it is a known that travel doesn't kill teams financially and the federations are carrying the big payroll players. If i had a club and was looking to move tickets, horse is the forward i'd want on my roster at this moment.

No way Abby and Sinclair end up on the same squad. The federations can't be that stupid.
