Corona has been involved a bit 10 mins in. Castillo hasn't had much to do and has put in a few harmless crosses. Xolos are dominating

Castillo and Corona combine down the left hand side and Corona puts in a nice cross that is cut out by the keeper. At least thats what i picked up from the commentators, my stream is cutting in and out

    Some quick observations:

    1. Xolos are the best defensive team because they press the entire pitch. No joke. They are in the box. THey are pressing the GK. They are everywhere. Reminds me of "Baby Dick" Rick Pitino teams.

    2. Corona has tremendous feet. He is a slightly more 'organic' Claudio Reyna. He doesnt have Claudio's poise yet, but his feet are better.

    3. Castillo is settling down a bit.

    4. Xolos are killing it right now, but nothing to show for it. Feels like a Toluca victory because they are exerting no energy at this point.

    Really good match.

If Tijuana could shoot anywhere other than straight at the keeper, they might have been up by three in the first 15 minutes.

This game is being played at frenetic pace. Hopefully, TJ can keep it up.

Cool to see Corona and Castillo playing off each other so much.

goal for xolos. Fidel Martinez. Lofted ball played over the central defenders and martinez was kept on side. He controls it nicely and finishes

and just like that, with possibly the softest goal in the history of the world. Toluca beats Castillo for an easy cross and shot. They beat a 5 man defense with 2.

This was on Homie. He got beat way too easy.

    1-1

goal toluca. Ugh. Castillo tries to cut out a pass on the top of the box and misses it. His man crosses the ball across the face of the goal and toluca scores

Actually, he would need to be marking the crosser to get beat by him, but he was nowhere near where he needed to be.

If I had to pull an analogy, this is a very good Italy v. Spain match. Italy looking to work the counter, Spain looking to press the match and find the goal. Result: 1-1.
