this clearly is our most important and most difficult game so far this season. no room for error on this one. (cue Amdrag)
---------------RVP------ -------------Rooney---------- --Clevs---Anderson--Carrick---Fletch Evra----------------------------------Rafael ----------Evans--------Smalling ----------------De Gea
I have it on good authority that we will be trying a new tactic in this game. See link (right before the Rodger rabbit section). I figure we might need Own Goal to make this work. Thoughts????
--------------Nani Nani---------------------Nani --------Nani------Nani -------------Carrick Nani--Nani--Nani--Rafael --------------DDG
I'd rest RVP and Rio here: -----------------DDG------------------ ---------Evans------Smalling Rafael--------------------------Evra -------------Carrick ---Cleverley----------Anderson --------------Rooney -----Cheech--------Welbeck
Lindegaard, Rafael, Evans, Smalling, Evra, Anderson, Carrick, Cleverley, Hernandez, Rooney, Van Persie start moaning away
No excuses with that lineup. Unless Rooney and Cheech are wingers in a 4-3-3 I expect a good performance and a win.
I do not understand why DDG has been dropped. Last few games his played he has impressed, especially when holding on against villa (I think)
No need to moan. Great lineup, best we fielded in weeks. We needed to see Clevs Ando and Carrick together. We'll see width in the second half.
i think fergie really buys into the idea that he's too frail for big teams like west ham and stoke. which is the epitome of self-fulfilling prophecies since he never gives de gea the chance to prove that he can deal with brutes.
3 midfielders should be the norm. then we can go 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-3 depending on form/injuries/need for width.
