I think there was about three lone broadcasts on CBS. The one I remember, unfortunately, was the championship game the Blast lost 14-2 to San Diego in 1985.

Now that the comets have killed everyone's chance to run the table this week, can anyone who watched the game break down what happened? Did Syracuse play inspired, did Missouri come out flat, was the game closer/not as close as the score would indicate? I had an event to attend last night and would have to admit to being surprised at the outcome.
Missouri couldn't put a shot on target, and when they did O'Quinn was there to stop it. Great game between the posts. Syracuse countered well and did a good job of exploiting the Comets' mistakes. With the lead, Syracuse dropped into a defensive shell in the 4th quarter and finished with a very strong defensive effort. Again, Comets couldn't shoot at all though.
IMO the Comets had a really bad game their passes were weak , and they gut looked tired all night Q'Quinn killed them he seemed to stop everything in site every chance Syracuse had to put the ball in the net they did .
