Can anyone remember the last time we won down there? I'm sure revX has the stats. ;)

Treat this like playing Chelsea at the bridge.

BR can outthink AV(doesnthaveaplan)B. Hostile environment and Suarez is going to go nuts.

Is Wisdom going to available? A lot will hinge on that. If we can play Wisdom, Johnson, and Enrique then I'll be comfortable.

Lucas in the bench? Or too soon? Probably too soon...

    I'm in anyway.

I'd be happy with a draw.

We haven't beat them down there in forever but this is winnable.

We have to temper our enthusiasm as this stretch is where the lack of depth in staff will show. Remember this is a long term project so if we can get into the top half by the end of the holiday period it would be fantastic.

I'd take a draw to be honest, keep the unbeaten run going and after this one the matches get a little easier.

Spurs away has been very tough for us recently. It is actually one of those matches where keeping the ball at length can really benefit us, take the wind out of their sails, quieten the crowd and dominate the match.

Another nil-nil would drive me insane though. So I am hoping we can knick one and win 1-nil away. Wouldn't that be nice.

In reality, I think it will be a 1-1 draw after another f-up at the back.

A win would be awesome and make up for some of the stupid draws we've forced on ourselves this season. That being said, I'm expecting a draw.

I think our luck turns and we win 2-0.

Expect a few changes if only to keep some of the legs fresh, bearing in mind we have another match on Saturday. We do have a desperately thin squad, it's increasingly looking obvious.

I hope some of the youngsters like Suso, Pacheco even, get a chance even if from the bench. Also Assaidi, Sahin and Robinson are good options. It may be a season too early for Morgan, though, which is why January cannot come soon enough.

I certainly would like to see Wisdom and Suso back on Wednesday. I like Suso in the middle better than out wide. With Sterling and Enrique out wide and Allen, Suso, Gerrard in the middle.

I think Wisdom is out for a fortnight.

Gotta get Assaidi some time. Sterling needs a rest it's becoming apparent.

Also agree that Suso should get back in here with hopefully Robinson getting a chance at LB?

Yeah, much prefer Robinson at left-back to Downing who needs putting out of his misery. He and Enrique on the left would be interesting.

Agreed that Sterling needs a break. He looks fatigued, mentally and physically.

Not sure why Assaidi isn't getting more burn - he's mostly looked lively whenever he's played and has put in some borderline MOTM performances. With as paper thin a squad as we have, we need to utilize everyone.

Oh, and I ********ing hate Sp*rs.

Sterling looks fatigued. I imagine he has a lot of sleepless nights what with three children and all.

Gonna be interesting to see what team is put together for this one. If we can prevent them from playing their up-tempo direct style I think we'll have a chance of grabbing a late goal.
