This should be a good one. Expecting Sagna, Vermaelen, Wilshere and possibly Gervinho to start (However I think the purpose of subbing Oxlade and Lucas were to make sure that would not be the case).

I would play the following (Note: I did not see the Aston Villa game so I do not know of any unreported injuries):

    Szczesny
    Sagna, Mertesaker, Vermaelen, Gibbs
    Wilshere, Cazorla, Arteta
    Chamberlain, Giroud, Podolski.

    2-0 to the Arsenal!!!

Last time Wenger talked about Walcott he said that he could be back for the Everton game but I am guessing bench for him due to him "just coming back from fitness" (wink, wink ;) )

We are ready in the back four.

Our mids are Arteta, Jack and Santi.

Our left is Pods. Who claims the remaining two forward positions?

If Theo is still injured then OX or Gervinho... hopefully OX though.

Gervinho can play the Perry Groves role and be a super sub.

Gervinho managed to show he's worse as a Sub than a starter against Villa. Let's just not play him at all.

But... but... its Gervinho... notice the "ho" at the end. He must be good!

But in seriousness, perhaps your right. Remember that if Pod and OX play then we would also potentially have Walcott on the bench or vice-versa (Walcott for OX) so the chance of playing Gervinho is lowered in that sense.

start Arshavin for this we need some thing different, we have no speed in our attack and others teams know that if they mark carzola we are done.

AW should try some thing different

Too soon for this match. What is the likelihood either side is up for it?

1-1 in an ugly, ugly draw.

Ox plays like a stud when we have a cushion and coming on as a sub. He is not ready to be a starter. I'd personally drop Poldy after THAT performance but not sure who we have at the moment to take his place. Supposedly, Wilshere has a swollen ankle and a lot of scar tissue that is bothering him. I don't like the sound of that :( .

    Chez

    Sagna Kos Per Verm

    Arteta

    Ramsey Caz

    Gerv Giroud Poldy

Well its not as if Pod is off form. Yes that was one match but I dont see it as much a problem. He was probably tired. I dont think playing with Koln will get you this many games that fast.

It's amazing how good that 2005 team really was. None of these muppets would get into that team.

Are you telling me that Per, Laurent, and Thomas are not as good as Senderos (2005 version) or that Cazorla is not as good (or better) than Jose Reyes.

Nope. Those two were mostly marginal players . Maybe I am crazy but I won't bench Gilberto or Paddy at their prime for Cazorla in a 4-4-2.

Huh? It's a six-point swing considering they're on top of us.

Not sure about Gilberto but Vieira definitely not. If we had Vieira in his prime in our team right now we would be quite dangerous.
