1st legs of the Liga MX playoff semifinal round begins. Club America vs. Monterrey will be on tonight and Santos Laguna vs. Cruz Azul is on tomorrow. The semifinal winners qualify for next season's CCL tournament and will join Tijuana and Toluca.
I think Las Aguilas will end Los Rayados' dynasty and CCL title reign. Don't care much about Cruz Azul-Santos. I still think Santos will make it and be heavy favorites in the next edition of the CCL but if it's Cruz Azul, they might once again come up short just like in the past couple of years in their history with the CCL (lost to Atlante in 2009 Final, lost to Pachuca in 2010 Final, and lost to Monterrey in 2011 Semifinal).
