Our counters have been poor. Ronaldo should run down the wing and receive a long pass, cut in and pass to Benzema who makes the run behind him, that creates space in the middle. Benzema passes to Cristiano, or eventually to Di Maria or a midfielder who has made the run. They either shoot, or pass it sideways for the next guy to take a shot. It's that simple, but instead we have players twisting and turning, keeping the ball for too long, or just not making the correct pass.
What kind of football is this right now? Come on fellas, keep the ball for more than a few seconds, would ya?
