For those of you that get the BYU channel on your cable or satellite provider, you will be able to watch this match live. For those of you that don't receive this channel, it is still being broadcast on the Internet live (in HD quality, at byutv.org). That will be the same exact television broadcast that is duplicated live on the Internet, so it is not some crummy low-quality webcast streamed online.

Read here for more details: (broadcast details are in the section labeled "How to Follow")
    http://byucougars.com/w-soccer/ncaa-quarterfinals-friday-1-seed-byu

Example of the Internet quality broadcast in High-Quality:

Props to the Mormons for providing high-quality Internet streaming and overall video quality.
The new pro league needs to take note at this quality of video on their Internet broadcast.

One tries to be patient and tolerant, but sometimes life is just too short and its just too hard.

This is not about "the Mormons" its about a broadcast opportunity. It was not about "the Mormons" when you were railing against them about potential Saturday games, neither is it for them when you like the TV coverage. I'm sure I am not alone when I say your bigoted subtext makes me want to gag (and also disregard your texts, whether or not they have any soccer merit).

Why don't you take your offensive attitudes (whether directed at Mormons or any other group) and put them where the sun fails to shine? Big 10 also has better coverage than the ACC, as you noted in another post. I think they are not Mormons? Thanks for identifying this opportunity. It has nothing to do with religion. Why don't you try to avoid being an .... (you fill in the blank)?

That aside, normally the BYU on-line streams are free.

Edit: Now that I think about it, so are Portland's. Since they are the top two teams in average attendance, maybe there's a lesson there for other schools?

I give props to the BYU crew, and you tear me apart with your post?
    That makes sense.

Besides, I said Mormons were the 2nd nicest people in the world behind Chinese people.
That is a compliment. I have nothing but respect for Mormon people.
Just because I don't agree with moving up the National Championship game one day to appease one religious group (or any other religious group for that matter) doesn't mean I don't respect all the various faiths/religions of the world (including Mormons). You're totally misreading.

If that is the case, my bad and I apologize. That is not the impression I have formed from reading your posts over the last week, but I've been wrong before. If you are, in fact, a beacon of tolerance and enlightenment, then I might suggest you may wish to be a bit more careful with your posts, as I am pretty sure I am not the only person who has "misread" you on this topic. Also, I might note that the "Chinese people" are not always as nice as one might hope. Sometimes there are probably some Mormons who are nicer. And on some days there are some Peruvians who are probably nicer than either. Perhaps we ought not generalize? Cheers!

True. You're gonna get your good apples and not so good apples from every cultural tree.
But just for the record, when I was mentioning about how I don't think the NCAA should cater to any religious group by moving up or back events to another date, I was only actually being sarcastic by blaming it on "The Book of Mormon". It was all in good fun. No harm intended. I still don't think the NCAA should give any catering to any religious group though. I always felt the NCAA and religion should remain separate. I was only being a playful smarty-skorts in an intended good manner over the whole situation. But it's not my call in terms of when they schedule or reschedule events based on any potential religious interference. Sunday is the day of rest. This is the excuse to give to the wife when you want to watch NFL football, and they want to go shopping. It's a day to rest on the recliner.

And if BYU wins the National Championship, they need to include a 2012 soccer page somewhere in the modified Book of Mormon. Just one page of many pages. Not that much to ask for.

I've been on this site for several years and to my knowledge have not made any enemies yet. I'm certainly not looking for one now! FYI, your sense of humor will take some getting used to, as I think many will not have gotten the joke-- I know I didn't. I will try to expand my sense of humor-- Thanks, I guess, for stretching my horizons...

    have no idea.

but i do remember being very disappointed when their now assistant coach, aleisha cramer rose, one of the best midfielders i ever saw play for the uswnt, quit to get married. she was a senior, i think, the last time byu went far in the tournament.

i believe byu has the better defense. plus they're at home. and north carolina has been in decline the last few years.

    so byu wins.

not hoping for it, just predicting it.
