Not really. There are plenty of players with his build who regularly excel within the EPL, so it should only be a matter of when, and not if, he can produce his best for Man Utd. Plus didn't he pick up this rather annoying injury, all thanks to a poor level of tackling technique in a UCL game? In my mind, that's not an issue of fragility....
shortlisted for the inaugural AFC International Player of the Year, alongside Nagatomo Yuto of Inter Milan and Australia's Mark Schwarzer of Fulham (EPL)(GK).
Why Schwarzer there? However even the last BL season began with an injury, hope this will be the same!
So you think he's injury prone? He got hurt in a random non contact scenario, during a UCL game vs Braga. Fragility...
I thought his time within the Bundesliga had as many typical injuries as everybody else..., but now your saying long spells on the injury list/touchline will be his foreseeable Man Utd future? I still feel Man Utd's best attacking line up will feature a combination of RVP (Injury concerns), Rooney (fitness concerns), and Kagawa (growing fragility concerns), and now your saying that this potentially slick trio will remain nothing more than injury prone wishful thinking; lol, typical...
When did Messi last make a tackle though.... Seriously though, Iniesta and Xavi have Kagawa's postman like build, and they pick up stupid little injuries like Kagawa all the time too, mostly due to the kinds of non contact based stuff they also do as extremely agile players in physically taxing mid-field positions. On the other hand, all the extra hormones Barca injected into Messi as a kid, now has the hobbit looking like an underdeveloped lightweight power lifter, making his core body strength ridiculously underrated by the numerous defenders who attempt to take the ball away from him.
Barca injected the growth hormons the way he is build up is his training and building up muscle, also when he first came to Barca's first team he was similar to Kagawa no body strength and not enugh muscle, when Pep became coach he also changed his diet and since that happen practically no injuries before that he was actually injured all the time it is similar with Van Persie injured all the time at the start of his arsenal career but now it has been some time... Foootballers need to be build in the right way, eat the right stuff and on the field make the right moves if they want to avoid injuries Messi gets tackled all the time because of his dribbles but he usually decreases the possible damage
We both agree then, that Man Utd will fully understand how to improve and accelerate Shinji's athletic game even further? I'm sure he's already on a serious training regime to build his resilience to the demands of the EPL, but one look at Hernandez right now, and loads of other players in the past, all point to the fact that SAF rarely signs fragile finished products any way, instead favouring the evolution potential of gifted players within his systems of play.
lol shinji singing Gangnam Style at man utd's christmas party http://twitter.yfrog.com/mvck8utojovuvjfkruqujzowz
Embarassing. Dunno if in Manchester people can't recognize that japanese people are not the same of korean people of he simply sing it to entertainment. This remind me Nagatomo (when he was in Cesena) cutting a party cake with a knife emulating a samurai move.
During his first bonding session in pre-season, he was tasked to do a similar routine in front of everybody, and in the end he chose to do a rap in Japanese. So how the hell did he go from J-Rap, to the Gangnam song lol.
Com'on 99% people from earth knew Gangnam style and and 98% like this song..... 97% want to dance it....
