I guess you didn't get the memo back then, there is nothing better than DirecTv for the soccer fan.

The Honduras game should be available in Most markets on both BEIN Sport channels since there are no South American WCQ Conflicts.

What exactly do you not understand about Comcast not adding these stations in some localities, like the one I'm in?

Most Major Markets already have BEIN Sport ESPANOL available. By February many Markets should have the English version.

These are companies who just respond to demand.

Soccer fans in the U.S. not knowing how to find quality streams is really pathetic. Consider it a right of passage.

Based on what appears to be this Board's demographics, there's a decent chance I've been following the Nats since before you were born.

A right of passage, I don't need, seeing the game on a 60" TV, rather than a 24" monitor, I do.

It seems odd to hold a January camp for MLS/Norwegian guys when only like Zusi, Gatt, Mix, and Gonzalez have a realistic chance of making it to the Hex game in February. I don't think you could really integrate a CB without any scheduled games either.

Don't be fooled by the 8-1 over Canada. Honduras has the weakest attack in the Hex. Carlo Costly? Bengtson, a NE Rev? Being on that team alone will ruin him.

Espinoza is good but usually plays for Hon. on the road, when the team is more defensive.

This Honduras is not to be confused with years past--weakest team in the Hex.

Is Canada's defense usually that poor? (I heard of the result previously). I don't follow Canada obviously, but 8 goals... ouch...

Chavez and Boniek are legit in attack as well.

I actually think this Honduras team is quite strong, just like years past.

Costly and Bengston both have good int'l records.

Our backline can definitely be exposed by them.

It was the last game, Canada knew they needed to win. I can't remember the game too much but as soon as Canada got scored on they fell apart. It wasn't a real game after the first 10 or 15 minutes because Canada knew they were done for. Plus they had lost De Rosario the game or camp before and really had no attack without him.

I wonder with the squad that JK is using if that can happen to the USMNT. That they fall apart after being scored upon.
De Rosario is still very dependable. Too bad for Canada. That score can't reliably be believed.

Not to worry; responding well to early goals conceded is something the US has lots of experience in.

Landon is not making itany easier to project lineup for this one. As many times as he has brought it up I think it's time to start figuring out who takes his place or do we rotate guys?

Being scored on is something we have a lot of experience with as Grunt pointed out. The one thing that comes to mind is holding leads like against Brazil in Confederations Cup or Mexico in Gold Cup. We responded really well against Russia in the last friendly when going down a goal.

it was a combination of needing a win and the fact that Canada doesn't play well in a hostile, super humid atmosphere.

    Donovan isn't sure himself.

Klinsi could just as easily rely only on the European players. Holding a camp with no friendlies scheduled is sort of pointless. Only 3 or 5 MLS/Norwegian guys have a legit chance of making the first hex game anyway.

These companies are kept alive by Government regulations that forbid us from directly paying ESPN, BIEN, FSC, and the two other channels that any of us actually watch for content. Instead we are forced to go through our cable/satallite company and overpay for a bunch of channell "packages", purchasing hundreds of channels just so we can get the 4 or 5 channels we actually watch!!

There is a case that may be heard by the Supreme Court this year where the Defendant/appellant is an online company that distributes or allows distribution of individual channels online. Cable providers and their federal regulators are contending that that online distribute is in violation of our public policy keeping cable alive and well, sucking us dry.

It's a bit questionable that paying per individual channel will be cheaper for most consumers. Sure if you only want ESPN and nothing else, you will obviously save money paying $5 for one channel a month versus the $50 you pay now. If you are a soccer fan, $10 for ESPN and ESPN2, plus $15 for FSC, NBC Sports and BeIN, it might seem reasonable. However if you like other sports, or other shows, the price of adding other channels really starts to add up.

None of that addresses the simple fact that US World Cup Qualifying games simply are not attractive enough for cable networks to pay 700-900 thousand dollars for.

btw the MLS Hondurans will be fit by the time February 6th comes around..

    A. They're doing off-season training with their previous teams in Honduras right now
    B. They will be playing in the Copa Centro Americano
    C. Espinoza is already having his physical done in England

nb4AllOfTheAbove, glad I could be of assistance :)
