    Donovan probably. Who else? Maybe Zusi or EJ. So 0-3. Maybe Gonzalez, but that's a real long shot for a guy who has never played a qualifier.

    If it makes you feel any better, you may also have to watch them on tape delay on the Spanish beIn sport. They often show CONMEBOL qualifiers first and then the US games on delay.

    Ah good point. So hopefully this one will be on at the normal time. I assume all others overlap with CONMEBOL qualifiers and will be bumped, but I'm too lazy to check the FIFA dates.

    Shea is out for 3-4 months after a foot surgery. I don't expect him to be involved early in the hex.

    Do you have inside info on this? I know it's their goal to get picked up by more companies in English, but I hadn't heard anything beyond that.

    As for the CB issues if Boca is hurt. This has already happened once in WCQ so far, and JK slid Cameron over the LCB and played Goodson at RCB. If Boca is out again, I'd expect the same, or maybe to see Edu at CB, especially if Maurice gets some time there in January. Also think that would be a great time for Demerit.

    It's just kind of a big leap from virtually no caps (Gonzalez, Whitbread, Besler) to starting an away WCQ in Honduras. I'd guess an experienced hand of some sort (Goodson, Edu, DeMerit, Gooch, even Jones) will be the choice if Boca can't go. New guys can be the backups.

    Don't tell anyone, but I hear Jurgen is planning on breaking out the ultra-modern 4-1-1-1-1-1-1 for this match. We should expect, late in the game, that is will morph into a 2-2-1-1-1-1-1-1 and, possibly, a 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1.

    This is what I expect, but I don't think JK has never deployed Dempsey this way, so I'm not sure why I expect it.

    I'm pretty confident about 20 roster spots:

    The above 11 +
    GK: Guzan
    Attackers: EJ, Altidore, Gatt, Zusi
    Tweener: Kljestan
    Defenders: Edu, Goodson, Chandler (Show up Timmy!)

    The last 3: A backup keeper, probably Johnson.
    Another Attacker: Boyd or Agudelo
    Another Defender: Parkhurst, Beckerman, or the mythical CB.

    If you're expecting any surprises, get used to disappointment.

    Well, yeah it is, but I can't afford to switch cable companies. And why should I have to in order to receive US National team games in English. Seems to me like, once again, soccer fans are considered second-class citizens.
