It was hard to pull for Spuds when they were playing ;)

Not surprised about Dempsey. Not sure what Friedel has done to ride the pine.

Damn you AVB, don't you care about my waking up early??? No consideration for others, you just want to win your huge derby game.

Defoe runs onto a long ball, shoots at Szczesny who gives up a short rebound, Adebayor motors to the ball and puts it in.

    Spurs all over Arsenal.

Spurs also playing a 4-4-2 as many of us suggested.

If this form holds, it will be a concern for CD, and probably even Freidel.

everyone beats AVB teams in the second half.

Reminds me a lot of the Cookie Fulham team. That year they lead virtually every game going into the final 10min and ended up losing virtually every game. The stat was wild, something to the effect that Fulham would have been the number 3 team in the league if matches were only 80min long, but instead were relegation fodder.

Wow. Ade red card for a high two-footed challenge, 17th minute.

1-1 now, Mertesacker with a good header off of Walcott's cross.

Maybe we'll see Friedel back next week too :p

As father of the Spuds, I salute you.

Once back from injury with Parker, Dembele and the others, AVB is going to have to run the table to save his job.

How's horrible is Gallas? I know that ball took a deflection off him but he got twisted and turned and looked like he didn't know where the ball was. Every time I watch Spurs his poor defense has led directly to goals. They would be wise to find a replacement.

Better switch out that goal-keeper at half.
