one more title as the man, he will rank ahead of kobe all time.he would have more league MVP's, and as many titles as the man.
Remember kobe's first 3 titles, are pippen level... or last year wade level. that is a side kick ( not as the man, it was shaq team).

The Clips and The Grizz making a statement last night. The west is scary good.

Eric Bledsoe....... wish we had him backing up Nash. Would have been perfect. He would have gotten more mins too. That Clippers second unit is easily a 7-8th seed on its own.

You can't use MVPs to rank LeBron ahead of Kobe. Even titles as the second best player are much more valuable than an MVP award. What do you think Pippen would do if someone offered him an MVP title in exchange for his rings? :D

And that's even before we get to how subjective the MVP award is. Shaq has just one MVP as opposed to Nash's two. Karl Malone won because the reporters were tired of giving it to MJ every year. Hakeem lost one to David Robinson only to completely dismantle the Admiral in the Western Conference Finals. Kobe didn't get one in 2006 when he really should have for carrying a truly awful Lakers team into the play-offs and then to within a hair of knocking out the Suns.

A title (or even a deep play-off run) is a far more objective measure of success.

LeBron needs five rings before this conversation can even be had.

The Rockets are now 3-0 in games where Harden scores at least 30 points. In those where he stays under that mark, they are 1-4. Seems like the main problem for this Houston team is going to be finding another reliable scorer. So far, Lin hasn't been it.

Its only the clown fans of kobe who believe what you wrote.
You have short memory,or your were a baby back then... but any of mcrgrady, carter or AI next to shaq would have won NBA title back then. The guy was unstopable. For your info both barkley, and karl malone rank ahead of pippen all time imo.
And damn sure derek fischer doesnt rank top 50 player all time because or rings.

Number of rings mean nthg, we should look how they been won. As the man, not second fiddle or backups.

I have been asked the question when did you started supported miami like 10 times here, its becoming redundant.

I dont have time to sit down and search, for this argument. But anyone who was here can testify that, maybe it wasnt you who asked...but its was one of the lakers fans again.I have said it million times, I am not american..... and neither I visited USA. I have no loyalty to any team, I was a fan of cleveland and am fan of Miami now. Wherever lebron goes, thats the team I support.I am loyal fan of lebron james.

Now, I get the usual crap reply of 'gloryhunter'.

Not really but I am having fun here. And on other forums too. To me NBA is all about fun, yep I am loyal lebron fan... But most of the time I cheer for Miami heat to win not for me but for the enjoyment that those who hate miami heat to suffer

Its all about in yo face attitude in the NBA for me, so I am sorry if am being an ass for the lakers fans.Thats how you will cope with me here.

So what would you chose if you had do.. LeBron averaging 18-5-5 and win a Championship or LBJ averaging 35-10-10 and not win?

And don't worry about being an ass to us Lakers fans. We don't take fans like you seriously.

I heard somewhere that a) traveling East teams that play West teams back-to-back where the first game is on the coast and the second game is in Denver lose that second game about 90% of the time and b) since Dwyane Wade has been on that Heat they've lost that particular game every single time.

If the Heat had won last night they would have mailed it in tonight. As it is they're probably still going to lose.

It doesnt seem the case tho on the bold part :D

But for the first part, its not about averages again. But per your logic for example wade would rank ahead of lebron, since he will always have one more ring. Ray allen doesnt rank ahead of allen iverson all time, because of rings.Neither does bosh rank ahead of barkley or malone because of rings.
Robert horry, or dereck fisher dont rank top 50 players all time because of rings.

Its important to see how things been won, this miami heat team is lebron team..and he is the man who is winning them the title.Just like the lakers were shaq team, and he was the man who was winning them the title in early 2000's.

The heat always suffer on the road.Last year they lost to clippers on the road too. Same for memphis two years ago.We were almost .500 team on the road last year.

You can also add the fact, eastern teams going to play in west always suffer... Vice-versa as well, western teams rack up losses when they visit to the east ( check denver lately).

I dont think also heat are taking games serious, mainly because how weak the eastern conference right now is . Heat will make it easily in regular season with high record. Most teams have vital injuries ( Bulls - Rose, Pacers - Granger, Sixers - Bynum ) , and you add orlando losing howard. Thats 4 teams out of 8 in playoffs last year who are weaker this year.

What Laker fan takes you seriously?
To separate two comparable players you use winning, consistency, body of work. Duncan is the best PF ever. Give his rings to Malone and the Mailman is the best PF ever. At that level winning matters.

To separate Fisher from Stockton you use common sense.

One more time, you look at the way its won. Duncan won as being the face in san antonio, and best player. So ofcourse him winning championships as the man pushed him ahead of malone.
Tony parker doesnt rank ahead of john stockton because of a ring.Neither does ginobili rank ahead of iverson...

One more time, that lakers team was shaq's team.not kobe.
