That looks like a kids project. The logo actually looked like this.

I agree - you could make that design with clipart on Windows 1 or from 1990
somebody did NOT take any time to make that

From what I have heard they are in talks with Buffalo and Albany the misl/usl but that is about it . The last I had heard is that the only way they would join is if 2 of the CMISL teams came in to the league . IMO it would be way to many teams in NY I am Not mistaken the CMISL is apart of the PASL

You know the closest CMISL team is over 2,000 miles away from Buffalo right?

That's even assuming there is still a CMISL. They only played one game last year and their website is down and they only had two teams and neither one of them is showing any life signs.

I am just going by what i was told . I was told the MISL wanted to Revive the CMISL and have a division in canada . you know just at well as i do Syd it will never come to life The $250,000 franchise fee will stop it all dead in it tracks .

I think it would be nice to have an "Empire State" Division in MISL ... easy runs up and down I-90 for road games. Lower costs for all those teams since everything is a bus ride away with no hotels required most likely. Add in the previously rumored Utica franchise for good measure too.

Then shove everyone else into a "Not NY" division ... lol

WTF? IS IT REALLY $250,000 NOW?

    IT WAS $125,000

God I wish Chris E or Tim H could come on here and say what the hell you get for your ROI

MISL LOOKING TO LAUNCH ST. LOUIS FRANCHISE IN 2013
Those who witnessed the indoor soccer phenomenon in St. Louis during the last 20 years of the last century haven’t forgotten the spectacle: pulsating music, high scoring, sellout crowds … courtesy of the Major Indoor Soccer League (and others).

In case you haven’t noticed — and you probably haven’t — there still is a Major Indoor Soccer League. Remembering the past — especially those capacity crowds at the old Arena in the early days — the MISL has firmly fixed St. Louis in its sights for a future franchise.

Funny how the post evolves without a speck of proof that buffalo is actually interested. Just because one person mentioned buffalo over a year ago

Its almost like desperation at times from us...wanting what used to be, knowing it it's not going to happen, but one can dream. Like to see a poll in these cities conducted before they start and see how many would actually be interested in them or anyone else returning...

Did anyone notice that the Stallion page said
    "New Tradition Jan 1, 2013" ?
What league starts play in January? Arena Football?

Based on the resurrected team name, I can hope for either or both:
    1. Arena Polo League -- note to PETA: Horses WILL wear shinguards and helmets!
    2. OLD TIME INDOOR SOCCER RETURNS (Eddie Shore, Rudy & Randy Pikuzinski, Bob & Greg Di Nunzio...)

They dont need to be in any league to announce a team name , for example the Kixx are still alive they still cant decise if they are going to the PASL Or The MISL . I think the kixx had plans for the pasl and pulled out at the last second you need to Check with syd on that .

The problem with the Buffalo reference is a home field - while the First Niagara Center would be ideal to host a team, the problem is that it's too big, relative to the attendance they might get. While the Blizzard used to draw in the 5k - 6K range per game, seating that many people in a 18,600 person arena makes it look cavernous - that, and I don't think that anyone outside the Sabres organization would be able to truly run the team on a cost-effective basis.

The owner of the Sabres is putting in a new hotel and twin ice rink facility across from the FNC, and I believe it's supposed to be opened in 2015. One of those rinks is supposed to have a seating capacity for around 4000, which would make it a perfect venue for the Stallions, if revived.

    Just my $.02....

That clearly looks like someone mocked it up for a school project.

I came across that page months ago when looking for info on the Stallions after buying a handful of their media guides.

As for Buffalo in the MISL? Find a smaller venue, then we'll chat. Can't imagine they would turn down any franchise fee whatsoever at this point, especially with Rochester and Syracuse already in.

I think the colors are ridiculous and that horse doesn't appear to be much of a stallion!
